4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Kit for the Money, April 25, 2006
This review is from: 120-Pc. First Aid Kit (Misc.)
I'm planning an extended trekking trip, so I wanted a kit that had a little more than just the bare bones first aid just in case. This one fits the bill quite well. I won't list all the items you get, you can see that already so I'll give my first impressions that may help you pick one over the other based on what is important to you.

The scissors are of solid quality, not flimsy like you would normally expect with a $12 kit. It has a lot of reference material with instructions which is pretty handy. The carrying bag itself is nice and sturdy, and the belt loops are a nice touch. To top it all off, there is plenty of room left over inside if you want to put some other things you want, such as extra medicine, small tube of sunscreen, etc..You have enough room to put in a pocket survival kit if you wanted to also. I'll definitely put my magnesium fire starter and utility knife just to make it all in one.

I only hesitate to give it 5 stars because it is a little larger than I expected, but that is a minor complaint. With everything you get for the value, I'll gladly make room in my pack for this item. And for the price? The scissors, cold compress and carrying case is worth $10, so you can't go wrong with this value.
