The box of discs were delivered promptly BUT the 2 disc in the box did not function, the test strips were crooked and I could not use them when I ejected them to take my blood. I never had a problem with these test strips ever!!!I was very dissatisfied after all they are expensive!

I ordered two boxes. Expiration date on one of them is only 1.5 months away! Expiration date on the other box is fine, about a year away.

I am not enamored with the idea that at 63 I have to be tracking my blood sugar faithfully. The realization did come to me that if I wanted to be around with my sweetie for some more years, counting blood sugar results would be something that I would just have to do.
I chose the Breeze because after fumbling around with units which have you prick your finger and then balance the unit in one hand and guide it with the other and then....well you get the idea. An untutored person could use this with no problems at all.
After having used units that need to be re-adjusted from time to time, it is nice to only have to replace the circular cartridges and snap the top closed. Fitting the stickers into the sticker machine is another thing. I finally got it. That's something that all these manufacturers could work on.
I also appreciated that I do not have to constantly prick a finger. The sensation of doing it on the palm of the hand, leg, or lower forearm is much less than the pain at the finger puncture zone. Besides, one can vary the place one sticks oneself.
I have had good luck with the Breeze unit. Re-fills are available through Amazon and they will save you money.
So.....If you have to do this thing along with me and possibly millions of other Americans, let's do it together. Let's just say it was a 'Breeze'. Get it you won't be disappointed.

Product previously known to me. Price is best I have seen. Delivery time was excellent.

I am recently diagnosed Type 2, I am testing regularly to maintain without medication, I thought this would be so much easier than other meters, but it isn't and it's expensive. I don't even know if insurance companies pick up the full cost, so check that out before requesting a prescription.
