Bike Cover,
This review is from: Weather Wrap Bicycle Cover
I bought this to cover my bike which i keep outside. The cover works great. it covers the entire bike all the way to the ground. I have an adult sized mountain bike, and this cover keeps out rain, bugs, spider webs, etc... Great value. It has a tough outer skin and a smooth inner lining.

Are we all reviewing the same cover?,
By
This review is from: Weather Wrap Bicycle Cover
It is quite confusing to me how so many reviewers have considered this cover to be outstanding, of high quality construction, durable, etc.
I have found the product to be inferior in every way - except the large dimension that makes it possible to fit over by cruiser-style bike without a problem. Specific shortcomings are: 1. The outer skin is a very thin (no more than about 5 mils thick) PVC layer poorly stitched together. After only 1-2 months outdoors, at least two seams have separated. 2. The inner layer is made of a thin, low quality non-woven material, that, while soft and protective, has tended to shed all over my bike seat and handlebars. 3. In at least two moderate storms (no more than 6 on the Beaufort scale) the cover has blown off my bike, completely defeating its purpose. Without any Velcro or zipper fasteners, I finally resorted to using a clothesline to wrap around the bike below the handlebars and seat post to keep the cover in place - definitely an added nuisance. In summary, either my demands on the product are more severe that most (which I can't conceive), Brookstone is selling a variety of products with the same name (possible since everything is from China), or reviewers are writing reviews on delivery before truly evaluating the product. Avoid this product - a tarp would work better.

Heavy Weight Cover,
By
This review is from: Weather Wrap Bicycle Cover
I purchased this bike cover to be used outside as I don't have a garage to keep my bike from the elements. I am very happy with the cover. Heavy weight and covers bike completely! I did use bungee cords around the cover since it is outside. I would recommend this product. Shipping is high, still worth it.

pretty good cover,
By John Lee (new york suburb) - See all my reviews

This is not a flimsy vinyl plastic cover nor is it leather-like coverage - its in-between and just right. It fits my classic road bike very well and provides coverage all the way down to the ground almost even though I have a tall 27 inch frame. I'm not too enamoured about leaving my bike outside, as I am concerned about accelerating its rusting. We'll see how this works out. Otherwise, this cover is a good value for the money, fits properly and will keep away the bad weather. Perhaps a fully zippered breathe-able fabric cover might be the best? I have not seen one. Lacking that, this one is a very good one and definitely worth the $20.

not really a bike cover,

This thing is shaped like a bbq cover or something. Both ends appear to be designed for handlebars. At least it's heavy and seems waterproof. The bad part of this purchase was Brookstone. Awful service. They need to train employees to work with Amazon, if they're going to pass themselves off as an Amazon merchant.

Great bike cover,

I bought this bike cover not knowing what it would look and feel like since the last one I had was way too big and more like a plastic bag (and an eye sore). When I got this I was surprised to see that the inside was nice and soft and fit easily on my bike.

Great bicycle cover for hybrid bikes,
By elpdae "Angela" (Arkansas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Weather Wrap Bicycle Cover
My bike is a hybrid which means it is like a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike. So, it is difficult to find a bike cover that covers it completely. This bike cover is great in that it is big, heavy, and sturdy enough to stay on the bike. For the majority of the time I have no problems whatsoever. However, sometimes we have some real freaky rains here in Florida and it is impossible to keep the bike from collecting water inside the tarp (when the rain is coming from every direction-I kid you not). I'm still trying to figure out how to avoid this one small pitfall.

This is why there are varying reveiws maybe?,

I was reading some of the reviews and while most of them seem good there are quite a few that aren't. If you check product features as I did (I listed it below anyway.) It seems there are three different versions of this at least. Check the first bullet point. It either has elastic coating, straps, or both. I will stay away from this product as I don't like to play the lottery with things I spend my money on.
Product Features Color: Charcoal * Elastic edging and/or straps keep our mountain bicycle cover in place. * Shell is lined with soft felt-like fabric to safeguard from scratches. * Protects against bitter cold down to -22°F without cracking. * Shell shields your bike from all kinds of weather. * Dimensions: 70 3/4" W x 42" L x 42 7/8" H.

Protects my new bike,
This review is from: Weather Wrap Bicycle Cover
I purchased this cover for my new bike - I recently had to throw out an old Huffy b/c it had been exposed to the elements for 4 years and was no doubt completely ruined. The cover was a little snug to get over the handlebars of my Trek 3700 but I eventually got it over and just in time too b/c it rained that night. It was great to have piece of mind knowing my new bike was protected from the rain. The bottom of the cover features some velcro patches so you can close the cover at the bottom...I haven't really used them at this point in time but they may be more useful when I've purchased a bike stand - either way, it's nice to have that option.
