Performers in The Iceman Cometh include James Barton, Nicholas Joy, Frank Tweddell, Tom Pedi, Dudley Digges, Jeanne Cagney, Carl Benton Reid, and Paul Crabtree. Elizabeth Bergner plays the title role in "The Duchess of Malfi" and Canad Lee is the first Negro to play a white man on Broadway. Costume Drama flourishes in "Cyrano de Bergerac" starring Jose Ferrer as Cyrano and Frances Reid as Roxanne.
