Fast shipping, excellent quality product. It is softer than my old control and it really have more positive shifting. All the description product is true.

2.0 out of 5 stars Near Vertical Mounted Control Boxes
A caution about installing these units upright as may be needed on a centre console RIB. It is very easy to depress the detent lever during normal gear changing. In moving from forward to neutral, for example, the detent lever is easily depressed so the reverse gear may be inadvertently engaged. A caution about installing these units upright as may be needed on a centre console RIB. It is very easy to depress the detent lever during normal gear changing. In moving from forward to neutral, for example, the detent lever is easily depressed so the reverse gear may be inadvertently engaged. The detent lever must be consciously released to prevent travel past neutral. With a horizontally mounted unit, the detent lever must be actively squeezed to move to reverse. If your BRP remotes box is mounted pretty much vertically so that the gear lever is horizontal, treat it with respect, otherwise your gearbox may be at risk!
