I love this printer. It is portable, has no ink ribbon, or cartridge, and is very easy to use. I have several different label rolls - 1/2 round, 1" round, 2" labels etc... I use them to make cosmetic container labels. So easy and looks professional. Only draw back is that it only prints in black and white. That's the price you pay for not buying ribbon or cartridges later -no waste is good.
