The arbors fit loosely in the different calibers I tried the product on causing the boresighter to rotate on the barrel. Adjusting the brass springs didn't help. Even if you could get a snug fit, there is no way to level the boresighter so that the grid is straight up and down, making the sighting in of a rifle or scope a complete guessing game. Customer service at both BSA and OpticsPlanet.com was a joke. Now I am finding myself having to pay for return shipping on a product that is essentially worthless. Note to BSA and OpticsPlanet.com: hire some customer service reps that at least act like they give a damn. In case you haven't noticed the economy sucks and you are lucky to have a job.

As described. Needed to bore sight my new 17 varmit rifle and needed the 0.177 bore rod as no laser units have 0.177. Shipping was fast and price was right.

BSA Bore Sight Kit,

The product works as advertised, remember, you have to take your rifle to the range to finish the job. If you are worried about leveling the cross hairs, use either of these methods. 1. You level your rifle vertically and horizontally, can be done with any six inch bubble level and a pair of 9" wood clamps. Find on YouTude standard boresighting your rifle. Then take a carpenters square and a black felt tip marker and place a square and level line out about 20 - 30 feet and line up the cross hairs of your scope. 2. If you have a Laser Level, you can get these from Sears for about $30.00, shoot a level line accross any wall and level your cross hairs. This has worked well for me on my Marlin 336 30/30, Ruger GLR 77 30/06. Have fun take your time. I gave it 4 stars because it does not have a built in level.
