almost perfect.,
By *It is light (about 12lbs.) and easy to carry up/down stairs *It is quiet when running (for a vacuum cleaner anyway) *Has 3 onboard attachments- they're stored neatly under a little door on the vac body *HEPA filtration *Rectractable cord *Handle telescopes in/out so you can change the length *Looks super cute and stylish. Looks as nice as a Miele at a much better price *Easy to change the bags I didn't give it 5 stars because I don't like the way the vac head and the attachments attach to the main handle. You just push them together and hope they hold. There is no "click" or latch to hold them together. I was using it yesterday and the head just plopped off. I had to stop and push it back on, but then it stayed. Also, the replacement bags are a bit pricey, but that's part of the nice air filtration, so I don't mind too much. Overall, it's been a GREAT machine so far.

I have this vacuum and I love how quiet it is even when on the highest setting! Quieter than any upright vacuum I've ever heard. It does tend to tilt over when pulling it around but I can live with that. It's great for small apartments. I like the attachments. It's very durable as well - I've dragged it all over the place (my kids too) and we've never broken it. I've had it for at least a few years now and have never had any problems with it.

Great Bare Floor Vacuum,

I bought this vacuum to do my wood and tile floors, which it does a great job on. I didn't realize you have to buy the bare floor attachment separately though, but, after I got it, I loved it. It is lightweight, small and easy to maneuver and carry, and the attachments fit nicely in a top compartment so they can't fall out-a great plus. It is quiet, and has a variable suction lever if you want to do gentle vacuuming, such as curtains. It is easy to store because it sits up and the hose hooks onto the side of the machine. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't do a super job on carpets. It's OK, but I bought it for bare floors anyway. I use an upright for carpeting, which I think always do better on carpets anyway. Bosch makes such good solid products that last and I'm sure this one will too - it seems very well built and I'm extremely happy with the purchase. I call it my Orange Egg.
