I purchased this as a Christmas present and have been using them this summer. They are just as pictured. They work fine and seem to be holding up just fine in the weather. Good deal for the price.

This set is durable, yet affordable and effective. The set is heavy enough to stay in place, but also be transported to the yard, park, or traveling with ease. Good investment.

In a day of electronic games these bases entice
children into getting the exercise they need while having fun with
friends and family!

I bought these and now we take them to the park every time we go, as the children love playing baseball with their own diamond. The beauty of them is that you can set them up anywhere, in a back yard or grass park or on tarmac. The diamond can be as big or as small as you like so can be adjusted to suit the age of the children or adults playing. I am very glad that I bought this set and I am sure that they will last us for the rest of our lives! The set is made of durable rubber so can't blow away but it is a little heavy, at least for me. So I always put the set in the basket of our stroller with our balls and bats to take to the park, that works perfectly.

I guess I remember how they used to make bases where they were at least a half an inch thick, they had a honeycomb weave on the back so they grabbed the ground and they had some weight to them. These are 1/8" thick, very pliable and seemingly very slippery on grass. They are good enough in a pinch but not exactly what I was hoping for. Since we'll be using them on grass, I guess I'll have to make sure my kids round the bases with utmost caution so as to not have the base slide out from underneath them due to the grass.

They sit on the ground, remain out of the way until they are needed, and allow a backyard baseball game to proceed. What more can you ask of five pieces of something that looks like rubber. An added benefit - fewer arguments about whether a ball hit down the line is fair or foul.

We just got this for our 3 yr old son. The bases are just flat plastic mats but they stay in place pretty well and do not appear to be too slippery when the kids are running the bases. I wish they had actually printed the number on the bases, (1, 2, 3) so that the kids could start to associate "getting to second" with the 2 base... It would be a nice addition to the product. Having said that, they are very simple and serve their purpose as they are.

I purchased this to help get my 3 year old started in learning the basics. He loved to hit the ball, but would chase after it. Now he stands at home plate as we toss the ball, then runs the bases when he hits. They are of good quality for the price, but keep in mind they are very thin (maybe 1/8 or 1/16 inch thick) although made of a durable rubber. They would likely not stand up to older children or adults really playing hard. Very happy with the item for our intended use and good value.

We are trying to teach our 3 year old grandson how to run the bases correctly when playing baseball. These are perfect!

These bases are great to throw in the backyard. I got orange ones, and they do fade fast if you leave them outside for a few days. But, thats not a big deal. I would recommend
