This is a great bag for trips to and from the office. I have to admit, at first glance I thought it was way too small. Even after filling it with my 15" MacBook Pro, power cable, phone charger, earbuds, random pens and office supplies, two notebooks, a couple of folders, a baseball cap and a 1,000-page hardback, I was skeptical. But after a couple of days, its design and efficiency of storage really grew on me. It's replaced a Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag that I would routinely fill with extra gear (because I could) and then suffer with during the mile-long hike from parking lot to office. Now I only take what I need, when I need it - and with much more comfort.
I love the wide-mouth main zipper compartment; it ingeniously opens and gives access to all your gear. Multiple compartments inside keep everything organized and secure. Side zips are perfect for cables and accessories. Mesh pockets in the shoulder straps hold my smartphone (snugly), and similar pockets on the side of the bag are great for small items - though they're too small and tight for water bottles.
The minimalist design and interior color accents are the icing on the cake, and separate this from the pack of wannabe bag brands. The top handle is a nice touch for people like me who use this as their primary office bag. The laptop sleeve fits my MacBook perfectly, is well-padded and secure no matter how much junk I'm carrying.
On the downside, it is a commuter bag only. A chest strap would be nice for those days when you've got a full load. Zippers instead of velcro tabs would be better for the interior pockets, and sleeves for pens and pencils would be a good addition.
