This product is flawless. I use it along with my iPad & Deep Dish Gig Book app, and it has been a "game-changing" combination. Hands-free page turning, no cords to plug in or try to hide, super-long battery life. The list goes on & on. Very easy to sync & use, noise-free while using, and small & easy to transport. I would give this a 10 out of 5 if I could - well worth the price.

I used the Freehand MusicPad for several years but recently switched to an iPad running Music Reader software to take advantage of the longer battery life and more compact form factor. The MR software has its faults but is constantly being updated and is reasonably dependable at this point.

I had attempted to use Boss pedals for page turns on the MusicPad but the extra cable and clunky hardware weren't worth the hassle. Now that my music on the iPad 1, I decided to order the AirTurn BT105 based on some favorable comments on the Music Reader website and Hugh Sung's videos on Youtube.

The good news is that the AirTurn pedal setup seems to be designed and built well. It has an internal battery that holds a charge for a long time and the pedal's action is silent. The pedal board, pedals and transmitter are compact.

I realize that Amazon reviews are intended to review the product at hand but I'm guessing that more than a few people are using the BT-105 with Music Reader. Although the combination of iPad, MR and the BT-105 works well when in sync, there are hitches in getting all the pieces cooperating.

The Blue Tooth pairing seems to only work this way: First turn on the pedal switch, perform a hard boot of the iPad (not from 'sleep' mode), complete the Blue Tooth connection and pairing, and then open the MR app. Once the iPad's BT system recognizes the AirTurn pedals and pairs the devices, the operation is smooth. Occasionally, I've had to "forget" the device and start over again in the iPad's pairing menu. Once everything is working, it's good to go for the duration of the gig as long as you don't turn anything off.

There are either minor glitches in the MR software or the AirTurn hardware.

Love the pedal. Has worked great with OnSong tuning pages, however I found one glitch that can be frustrating unless you are prepared for it. When the pedal is paired with the iPad, for some reason the iPad will not allow you to use the digital keyboard to type. So, if you need to get a song on the fly, you need leave the program, turn off the Bluetooth from the settings, go back into the program, type out what you need, then go back to the settings and turn on the Bluetooth again. Not sure if it is a BT-105 glitch or an iPad glitch, but it can be frustrating unless you have everything in place prior to pairing the device,

Pair this with the iPad 2, Onsong, a membership to SongSelect, and the iPad 2 music stand. This is a beautiful system that functions very well together.

I purchased this product to use with my iPad 3 in conjunction with online worship planning software. I am a worship leader in a local church, and it was a big step for me to "go paperless." However, after nearly two months of using the iPad (along with this pedal) to lead with, there is no doubt about me ever going back to paper charts. Just having my hands free (I lead with an acoustic guitar) has made a huge difference.

Now, on to the pedal itself ... it works well (so far, anyway), and was so easy to set up even a child could have done it. The TWO reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5? First of all, I am willing to pay out for quality products, but I sincerely believe that $120 for this is simply too much. That's a lotta coin! Of course, one might ask, "Then why did you pay that much for it?" Simple--I wanted the best product for its intended purpose (turning pages with a foot pedal on the iPad), and according to other reviews I've read, this is pretty much it. But again, I do believe that the item is overpriced, especially for its build quality, which leads me to the second reason for the 4 stars: it's not built like a tank. It's plastic, and I can't imagine it being very "road-worthy." If I were going to travel frequently with a product such as this, there is no doubt that I would probably either use the Boss FS-5U pedals with just the BT-105 Bluetooth unit, or I would simply look elsewhere.

Having said all of that, if you're NOT a traveling musician, I would highly recommend this product based on my use of it over the last couple of months.

It works great! It was very easy to connect it to the IPAD. The response time was immediate when pedal was depressed. I would highly recommend this product which, BTW, was made in the USA.

Hands free page turning is something we only dreamed about in music school back in the 1970's, and here it is! My only suggestion to improve on this item is to put a slip free surface on the bottom so that it doesn't inch away from one's foot in the middle of a performance. Bravissimo!
