I had been looking for some good nature cd's that did not have any synthesizer music added and so I was very happy to find Bubbling Creek which is just nice happy nature sounds, with no distractions or loud music covering the soothing sounds of a bubbling stream.

I bought this CD to help my newborn to sleep at night as a substitute for running water in the bathroom sink! While the sink works better, this CD is still a great help. The creek sounds realistic; you can even hear birds singing in the background! I would suggest the CD for anyone looking for the relaxing sounds of a bubbling creek.

I, too, was searching and searching for a babbling brook CD without the John Tesh / Yani style muzak which accompanies many of the nature sounds CDs offered. This one delivers! It is soothing and continuous. That is, it sounds as if someone crouched down next to a babbling creek and left their microphone there for an hour or so.

I enjoyed this restful CD so much I wound up using it to lull my infant daughter to sleep -- My baby and I both greatly prefer it to the swarm of classical music lullabies CDs I received as gifts.

In addition, a friend of mine was looking for a desktop fountain for her cubicle at work to help calm her stressful environment. When they proved to be too costly (or more often, the drone of the fountain's pump was louder than the water's trickle), I bought her this CD and suggested that she try it instead. She loved it, and now plays it 'looped'. She swears it has lowered her blood pressure!

I give it 4 stars out of 5, only because the sound quality is good, not great. Do I care?? Heck no! I can hear the water trickling, trickling, trickling, ZZZZZZ. Oh sorry, just dozed off there for a moment.

All this bliss for less than $[money}. Whadda find! Whadda deal! Light some incense and enjoy!

The CD starts off really good and then all of a sudden you keep hearing the same creek sound, with no difference in the sound at all.I was looking for a creek with different sounds not the same one over and over. If all you want is the same sound than this is for you,if not then you should look for a different CD.

I already have ONE, and play it all night. I have 2 CD players going,so put frogs or crickets etc. on the other machine: that way, when one "recircles" there is no annoying "gap" in the ambient sound. Now I can play the SAME thing endlessly, with no sudden noises (as happens with "natural" recordings).Might get about 3 more CD players and add in other sounds..pity they cannot yet play different cd's SIMULTANEOUSLY!
