My recommendation is to not buy this and I doubt I will consider another Buffalo product after this.
I have had some issues with this drive deciding to stop responding, forcing me to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in (since there is no power button).
UPDATE: Dropping stars from 2 to 1: The second unit also failed just 3 months after the one year warranty was over.
