An Artifact in the Home,
By
This review is from: BUNKER HILL USA AMERICAN New England 3x5 BATTLE FLAG
I'm an old school history guy, and, for me, there's nothing better than having historical artifacts in the home--even if they're just replicas. I bought this Bunker Hill flag for use in a series of videos I've been making. The banners take up considerable wall space in my apartment. I possess nearly a score of them and they have added considerable feng shui to my home (honestly, but don't ask Martha Stewart). The primary reason that I've been able to rotate in as many as I have is a product of the three by five feet polyester flags being so cheap to purchase. In my view, if you can get one for less than five bucks you're doing well. The Bunker Hill flag began as a mistake by a person looking at a chart a few hundred years ago. It represented New England with hatching to indicate a red field, but was colored blue accidentally. But the error lives on to this day as does its allure. This early Colonial flag, like many others, was made by altering the English flag and still references the mother country. This Colonists saw themselves as British subjects but fought to be free from violations of their liberty.
