For the money these are GREAT rings. I've used most brands and types (Weaver, Leupold, etc.) and if you are looking for 'detachable' type rings, get these. Burris Extreme Tactical Rings have SIX screws for each ring which assures a firm grip even under rough conditions. Note that if you use a Picatinny Rail as a base, you may need a lower ring height than normal bases. The rings look bulky, but are light in weight.
