The whole cookie jar is surrounded with bueaitufl embossed / 3-D flowers and butterflies. The lid has a life-size and 3-D butterfy sticking up off of a flower to serve as a handle. The cookie jar measures approx. 11" tall (from bottom to top of lid) and approx. 8" (at widest point). It is made of ceramic with a very fine gloss finish coating. This jar is even cuter in person. It's heavy and beautifully made. The handpainted butterflies and leaves only add to the overall look. I have never seen a jar like this at Marshalls or TJ Max and was thrilled to find it online. This would make a precious gift for a bride or a cookie lover.
