This game is a lot of fun but also a lot harder than the Buzz Mega Quiz game. If you know movies inside and out down to all the credits on some of the most obscure movies ever made this game is for you.

Buzz is back with a brand new adventure... YAHOOO!!!

Let me first point out that this is the BEST fun you can have with a group of friends looking to play an interactive game together. I have played them all from Gamewave to Scene-it and this blows them all away.

Sure, the Wii is fun but:
1. Did you learn anything? Probably not.
2. Can you play with up to eight people at once? No.
3. Can anyone pick up the controllers and be as good after the first try as anyone else? No.

I wish this came out earlier this year as I would have loved to have played this version with my friends before the Oscars. Being the champ here proves you ARE the ultimate movie and TV guru!

This game has been just as much fun as their original masterpiece, BUZZ: The Mega Quiz. The host is just as quick witted and funny and the 5000 NEW questions will keep you on your toes. I play this on my PS3 and a really cool feature the PS2 and PS3 have with this is it uses the memory card (PS2) or the hard drive(PS3) to store the questions it asks so you rarely get a repeat. There is no other game that can touch this!

My only complaint to the makers of Buzz is that they don't sell the controllers separately as I'm sure there are many people out there that would love to buy the extra set of have up to eight players play. C'mon guys, get with the program.

If you are looking to entertain a group of people with a fun, completely interactive game, this is it. Just be aware that you will need the special controllers included in the other BUZZ: The Hollywood Quiz package if you are buying the Buzz series for the first time. Enjoy!

We just love this game...family night wouldnt be complete without playing this one. We have challenges and champions!! Great game!!

I purchased this game for my step-son as a birthday gift. He really enjoyed playing Buzz: The Mega quiz when he was visiting us. So, I thought he would enjoy having this game for his PS2 console at home.

My children and I have had a ball playing this game. Great animation. Gets you thinking fast. Would recommend it for families, especially with teenagers.

First off, let's clarify something. This game is sold with and without the buzzers, but you do need the buzzers to play this game. It says so on the back of the box that's sold without the buzzers. Since this was released after the Buzz Mega Quiz game, you can use the buzzers from that game to play this. So if you have the buzzers from the Mega Quiz game you DON'T need to buy this Hollywood game with buzzers, unless you plan on playing with more than four people. If you don't have the Mega Quiz game, buy this game WITH the buzzers. I hope that's not too confusing.

Now for the Hollywood Game. If you like the Buzz Mega Quiz and are a movie fan, you'll like this - a lot! Buzz is back with his clever and smarmy remarks. The emphasis is on movies, but the questions are multiple choice, and often you can eliminate one or two choices. Several rounds can be played, including Hollywood Stars, Top Rank, Fact or Fiction, Rollover and the Final Countdown round where you time is shortened if your opponents answer correctly ahead of you. This game is also Eye Toy compatible, though that's not necessary to play.

You can customize the game for what rounds you want to play. There's a wide variety of characters and sound effects to choose from. The red button will make your character say a witty remark after the answers are given in any round. One person can play, but you're limited to two rounds, Time Builder and Hotseat. Like the Buzz Mega Quiz, you can choose Team Play, Quickfire Quiz or Quizmaster modes. The latter requires an Dualshock 2 analog controller. The buzzers plug into the USB connectors on your PS2, right of where you plug in your controllers.

The game is definitely more fun when multiple people are playing. There's a TV version of Buzz out for the PS3. I hope they eventually make it for the PS2 as well. If you're into movie trivia, get this game!

This is a fun game but is definitely for adults and mid- to older teenagers. The younger kids get bored very easily. It is hysterical when you have 4 (or even 8!) adults playing. The hard questions are indeed hard but the other questions are pretty tame -- particularly if you like trivia.

Was a big skeptic of this game.....got it home and played for hours! Everytime we have company over this is what they wanna play. Fun for all ages.

I was a big fan of the original Buzz game. This feels more like an expansion pack, with few improvements, but a large variety of new questions. Still a good game though.

Bought the new edition (Hollywood Quiz) for my son for his birthday after I had gotten him the original "BUZZ" for Christmas last year, he brought it with him when he visited a couple of weeks ago and it was great. The most realistic "game show" type game we've ever played at home. There are so many controllers that everyone in the family can play against each other, or we sometimes play couples too. Every time we play "BUZZ" we have a great time. Totally worth the money!!
