We needed to replace our old dvd player that broke. We took the new one to an installer they installed and it has worked great. We took a trip and never once had a problem with it.

The first one that I ordered would not power up. Poor tech. support could not solve the problem. The item was returned for another one which would power up, but would not play any dvd that was put in. Again, poor tech support could not diagnose the problem. I returned the item to Amazon for a different brand. I would not waste your time looking at buying this product.

The most important thing that my children and my wife liked this product.
The price was very suitable

I ordered the Boss DVD player because I recently purchased a Boss radio figuring they would work well together, and they do
as far as working with the audio FM and wireless speakers. I am a person that cannot stand a rattle in an automobile and I
installed the DVD player myself, with what very limited instructions were included with the unit. It installed pretty easily.
But once I drove down the road it sounded like a tin can was on my roof!!! The unit has two metal plates, one you attach
to the roof of the vehicle and the other is attached to the unit, and when you drive over a dump...it sounds terrible.
So, I went to the local Lowe's store and purchased small felt pads and placed them in-between the two metal plates and
WOW!!! ...it worked. I would recommend doing it before you install the unit.. That way you don't have to do the install
twice!!!

So far my two girls are enjoying the DVD"s and it makes traveling with two young girls bearable. I would recommend
It very highly for any planned travel in the future.

UPDATE: DVD player quit working after a month and I sent it back. Amazon sent me a replacement unit and that
lasted only 60 days after re-installing the unit for the third time. It starts making a clicking sound, then starts skipping
the DVD where it is very hard to view, then quits entirely, of course when you are on a long trip!! DO NOT waste your
time, money, and your children's experience with this product. I paid $145 for this unit and received 10 times the
grief for all the trouble it caused, as it is a piece of JUNK!!
