I am an African American woman with naturally kinky/coarse hair. I decided to stop using relaxers over a year ago, furthermore straightening my hair became a difficult task. I could never seem to get the results I was looking for out of a flat iron without going to a professional hair salon and spending $65.00 a visit.

I previously used FHI ceramic flat irons which straightened my hair and then left it frizzy again within the next hour. A hairstylist friend of mines suggested the Babyliss Pro Titanium irons. I purchased them from Amazon for $70 bucks and received them in about 5 days. "A miracle!!" I can't live without them now. My hair goes from frizzy/kinky to silky/straight/shiny in the blink of an eye. The best part is that it "STAYS" silky and straight until the next time I need to wash and straighten. No gimmic here. I highly recommend them over chi and fhi.

I suffer from curly, frizzy, wild hair.. I have tried every product imaginable and this is the best product out there.. It takes about a minute to heat and run it through each handful of hair once and your hair is perfect.. it will stay smooth and frizz free not to mention straight as a board until u wash your hair next(even if u wait 3 days).. Please buy this product if u don't believe me..

I never thought it could be possible. I own about 7-9 hair straighteners from cheap to deluxe. Not one of them could penetrate my thick, curly hair enough to do anything other than heat up the cuticle and make sizzling noises. This iron is going to change my life. I spent 700 on ionic straightening, and this iron works better!!!! If you spend any amount of time wielding a heavy blow dryer, forget about it. I used this iron on Air-dried, curly hair. I wish I could upload a digital photo- I look like a hair commercial. Unbelievable but true!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I bought the product after my hairdresser used it on my hair once. It was great. The hair stays smooth and frizz-free until your next wash. Don't have to worry about doing it again the next day. Love it.

I read a lot of reviews of different brands all over the internet before buying this product. This was the only one I found that was (a) affordable (GHD got the best reviews, but they're $240); (b) had no bad commentary, (c) was sold by a trusted site (Amazon) and (d) was a brand I trust (Babyliss). I have a Babyliss hair dryer and curling iron (5/8") and they're both great.

The iron heats up fast. The only minor drawback I see is that (although it goes to 430 degrees) the heat settings are preset, so you choose from, I think, 300, 325, 350, 375, 410, and 430. If I use 375, I get "good" results but have to go over some sections twice. If I use 410, sometimes my hair starts to smoke (though I don't know if it's my hair, or the product, that is burning), but it only takes one pass to get it done. I'm sticking with 375 from now on!

Remember to use a thermal protection product before ironing. I don't like the kind that you spray on dry hair just before ironing (this gives me a crunchy, flat 'ribbon' of hair) and I don't feel comfortable with the serum kind you smear on wet hair (because I'm afraid I'm not getting it on all the places it needs to be) so I'm still investigating products you can spray on wet hair, let air dry, then iron.

I love this flat iron it is the best one I have owned by far. This is definitely a salon flat iron because all the other ones I've owned can't even compare! I live in Hawaii and the humidity = a lot of sweat! However with this flat iron it still keeps my hair straight and nice all day! This flat iron makes my hair straight just as if I went to the salon everyday. I don't even have to use the hightest temperature to make it this straight. I would highly recommened it to anyone that has a hard time keeping their hair straight after they thought they've already flat ironed it. It's an awesome product! Only downfall is that when I was in Vegas it put a lot of static electricity in my hair. Other than that this is the best flat iron ever!!! =)

After using my sister-in-law's Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Flat Iron I could tell right away the difference from the get-go. It left my hair straight and soft. The best part is that my hair stood straight even when exposed to humidity. Two days after using it my hair still looked as though I did it that day.

So I bought one here on "Amazon.com" for myself and couldn't be more happier with this one. It's great that it has digital temperature controls and reaches up to 450 degrees. Even when using it on the higher temperature the outside surface remains cool, so you don't have to worry about burning your hand while holding it. The flat iron itself is very light weight. This is a quality flat iron that I am sure glad I invested in.

I did a ton of research on hair straighteners before choosing this one. This was highly recommended and amazon offered it at an incredible price. My daughter has the most gorgeous ringlets but of course she hates it and wants to straighten them. (We always want the opposite of what God gives us.) So far it seems to work really well. It gets very hot and glides right through her hair. Even though the titanium seems to help it glide right through I still recommend using a flat iron spray to protect your hair from the heat. Hope this helps someone else looking for the perfect flat iron!

My hairdresser bought one of these flat irons from his distributor knowing that my hair would provide the usual great testing platform. It worked so well I bought one immediately. The iron glides through hair very easily and is lightweight and easy to handle. Better than ceramic irons and definitely better than the ones you can buy in beauty stores.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this product and I saw any and all the you tube videos that I could find on this. I wanted to stop relaxing my hair and only flat iron it, but didn't want the flat iron to burn my hair. I had noticed in many of the you tube videos that the hair was swiped 3-4 times to get a good result. However, this flat iron is so awesome that I only have to do it twice to get the result that I want. I haven't noticed my hair burned and it feels soft and looks beautiful! I will never go back to setting my hair in rollers again! This is so freeing!!!! AND the 4-year warranty really sold me. It heats up in less than a minute and stay evenly heated throughout the entire time that you are doing your hair. Great price too!!!!
