I researched numerous flat irons before choosing this BaByliss product. I had previously owned a BaByliss, but an older model and at first I though I would change brands. The mixed reviews on this product were confusing, but when I received the product I was happily surprised that it exceeding my expectations. I have long, thick and somewhat corse hair and this product works tremendously in a very short period of time leaving my hair straigh and smooth the way I like it. It heats up quickly, does not pull (unless I take too much hair and try to go too quickly) and basically works GREAT. Even my salonist recommended the BaByliss products b/c that's what she uses.

So, if your hesitating....wonder no more this is a great product at an AMAZING price!

I love this flat iron. Works really great,very smooth. Heats up quick! The only problem is the temp dial, hard to see the numbers...need a magnifying glass! Auto shut off would be nice too. Overall, I love it and for the price, I would buy this again. Final note, fast shipping!! It arrived U.S Mail during the snow storm. Can't say that about UPS or Fed X.

So, I'm a novice when it comes to haircare tools. I had a flat iron before I ordered this one that was utter crap. It barely got my hair straight and it left it extremely frizzy. I forget the brand....I think is was a cheap conaire or something. Well, I've straightened my hair with this iron twice now, and it leaves my hair silky smooth and incredibly shiny. The product I use in conjunction with it probably helps with the shine too though. I have very thick hair...I'd say 4a/4b....and I use Sabino Lok 'n blok with the flat iron. The results are phenominal, and my hair stays straight from wash to wash. I'm a very happy customer.

For short hair this item is excellent to have shinny and straingt hair. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

My mom bought this for me for my birthday. I used it once and the black pieces on the ends of the plates came off. They are only glued on. The glue heats up and they fall off. I didn't even have it on the hottest setting. Very poorly made. Also, this flat iron REALLY pulls your hair. I'm extremely disappointed. My old flat iron just broke after 6 years of use. I was really hoping I'd like this one. I think I'll just buy another HAI flat iron. Not sure why I decided to try a different brand. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I have had this flat iron for more than two years now, with daily use, and I have not had any issues. Furthermore, it heats up in a matter of seconds, even to 425 degrees! It is very easy to see if it is on or off, and unlike other flat irons you don't have to make any efforts to get a perfect hair every time.

I had purchased this straighening iron before, but paid a lot more money for it at the time. I always like to keep at least one extra straightener on hand in case something happens in the middle of using it. The straighener I had was the same straighener I ordered so I just wanted to have a spare one since several members of my family use it, but when I saw the price that was being advertized for the same straightener, I ordered two or them since it was still less expensive than the price I paid for one in a different store.

The straighener works great and although both of my daughters have long, thick wavy hair, they are able to get their hair pin straight thanks to how well this straigtener works. I would recommend it to anyone since you could use it to make your hair straight or even to curl it if you already have straight hair.

I already own this straightener and love it, so I had to buy one for my daughter for her birthday! She would come over to my house to straighten her hair--and she owned a Chi! This is now my daughter's favorite straightener as well!

I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair. I have tried many flat irons, and not one has matched this one. I bought this flat iron about 6 years ago and it still works great! I have been using many suppposedly "new and improved" flat irons, but none have compared to this one. So, I always go back to using this one after a couple months. This flat iron gives me straight hair that lasts for days without getting any waves. I just purchased a new one of these flat irons to replace my 6 year old one, since it was less than $30! This is a great flat iron, for a GREAT price!! I am very satisfied!

I love this straightener. It heats up really fast and makes my hair smooth. The cord it also extra long so you can easily maneuver it. I recommend it.
