This is a wonderfully written book for children. So far, out of all the farm animal type books that I have read to my two children this one has been the favorite of both of them. The author uses not only the typical animal sounds to hold the intrest of the little critics, but he also ends each page with a rhyme. The rhyming captivated my youngest child by the time he was only a few months old. The illustrations are bright and colorful, portraying various friendly looking farm animals, keeping little eyes' attention. This is the best animal book that I have ever read. It's rhymes, sounds, and pictures are perfectly suited for even the youngest readers.
