The Track List on this CD are actually the track list for the Babies Go Beatles Vol. 2. So if you are buying for the songs, this is not the actual item described.

I originally purchased this CD as a baby gift for a friend. I enjoyed the songs and arrangements so much that I bought this CD for myself, along with the Babies go Abba CD. I work in an Antiques store and play this CD as background music for the customers. They love it, too!

Note: the listening "samples" shown for this album is incorrect, as of this post. Track 1 should be HEY JUDE, ending with Track 14 MARTHA MY DEAR. See reverse side of this album shown on description page. Error has been reported to Amazon.

That said, I love the Beatles in almost any musical form or fashion, so to speak. Long after the frenzy of the maddening crowds, the Beatles have survived the test of Father Time, musically. The coverage of their classic songs by various artists is beyond-countless! I can remember about 1964 when their music hit the American scene. Their music was unlike anything I had ever heard and somehow I sensed that this pop group would take America's youth by a storm, and it did... music that was strongly rhythmic and upbeat. These guys from the UK were dubbed the `fab four', and, of course, the rest is history...46 years worth!

This album, yet another issue of their songs, is orchestrated by an artist on RSG Music label from Argentina. I enjoy listening to interpretative covers by other artists, as they can be so creatively amplifying... an approach that can be quite pretty and ear-catching, be it to a child or adult. The format of these Beatle tunes stress more melodious and relaxing versions than the originals. Smooth off a few `rough' edges, then sprinkle in a few relaxation-friendly instruments and the result is an album such as this one. LET IT BE is nothing short of a breathtaking beauty. Add YESTERDAY to the playlist and we have a timeless pair of beautifully arranged classics! These are only two of my favs on this album.

Yes, these are re-creations yet true to the original melodies, and be assured that your ears will not in the least be disappointed. These renditions are instrumental, no vocal... center-staging "instruments" and "noises" that relax the self and soothe the psyche. Perfect for having your any-time-of-day java or mellowing out your multi-tasking.

Nostalgically, I let these compositions take me back, way back to one such LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS that I remember vividly. If you've got little ones about the house, introduce them to these classics of a simpler, gone-by time. YELLOW SUBMARINE seems like a perfect pick for little ears... brings back memories of the soft chimes of my neighborhood ice cream man! NORWEGIAN WOOD is another beautiful track... feel its encircling and embracing whirl of woodland magic.

14 beautifully edited songs covering the classic songs of the Beatles.
I mislead you not... this album will not disappoint, performing its job befittingly and more.

Simply said: Baby and YOU, joy together! Just you? Enjoy alone!

This CD was exactly what we were looking for - soothing versions of classic Beatles songs. We bought volumes 1 and 2 and alternate. One of them plays each night for our 10 month old daughter. I wish I'd found them sooner!
