What we don't know about Asian history,

My wife asked me to find this for her - she had read a Spanish translation that was given to her and wanted to read Lamb's great book in original English. She was not disappointed, and particularly liked the maps that came with this version of the book which made it even more interesting to read of this ancient history of which so many of us are so parochially ignorant. I recommend this to anyone with an interest in history and how it relates to our present circumstances. This book is well-written and fascinating, an account of a leader and conquerer so long ago who did so much for those under his control. Don't miss it.
