My daughter got this from her aunt as a bday gift yesterday. I specifically asked for this one because it doesn't use real water and wet herself because I do not want to constantly clean a doll. She ended up receiving two different baby alive dolls and this one is her favorite. She likes the food and juice cup it comes with. With the spoon you have to be sure to push it down hard enough for it to snap down so that the bananas appear to go from the bowl to the spoon and when you put it on her mouth press a bit and she will react to it. SHe does talk and my daughter got tired of her asking for more juice/bananas so she asked me to turn her voice off within the first 10 minutes of it being open lol. There is no on/off switch which sucked for me because I had to get a screwdriver to take the battery case off and put the batteries away and Im sure one day she will want to hear her call her mommy again and will ask me to put them back in for a while.

This baby is adorable! And eats, drinks and talks like the other baby alive dolls minus the horrible mess that comes out the other end. Kids can still get the experience of "being mommy" with out the parents having to clean the doll after each use. Or the fact
that the ones you feed for real mold if not properly flushed out. Gross. Any how we love this one too

We bought this toy for an adopted family at Christmas time....we were glad to know that we could get the AA option on this product!

Baby alive interactive dolls tend to be more expensive, however Amazon had great prices (comparable to Walmart). The African American Baby Alive dolls are hard to find : ((I live in Detroit, MI) It's a Christmas Gift so my daughters haven't played with her yet, however they always love their Baby Alive dolls. She's super cute, the price was great, she arrived extremely quick in perfect condition and she looks exactly like the picture. : )

WELL I ACTUALLY BOUGHT TWO OF THE DOLLS FOR MY DAUGHTERS FOR CHRISTMAS. THEY CAME NEW, IN THE BOX AND WORK AS FAR AS I CAN SEE. THUS FAR I AM PLEASE WITH THEM. THEY WERE SHIPPED ON TIME AND WELL PACKAGED.
