Ella Song, the doll on the left in my video review, is a such a cutie! She comes dressed in a onesy and is packaged with a keychain (with web code) and rattle. She is a small doll with Keane style features that is durable, adorable, and the perfect size for four and five years olds! My younger cousins (4 and 5 years old) loved these dolls. They recognized them as 'new' immediately and gravitated towards them. Both Ella and Makayla were popular that day at my house! These dolls are marketed for 5 and up, but should be suitable for those a little younger, too. The rattle is small and could be considered a choking hazard, so if you do give this doll to a child who has a habit of putting small things in their mouth, you may want to take the rattle away.

Pros:
-They're adorable!
-Such a great size! Not too small and not too big. Perfect to toss in a travel toy bag.
-Good attention to detail when it comes to her hair and face!
-Easy to open packaging.

Cons:
-Both Ella and Makayla don't sit as they have been shown to do in promo shots. My dolls only hold a crawling position. If I try to make them sit, they fall over.
-The rattle doesn't fit in my dolls hand so it's a bit useless.

I think these dolls are adorable, as did my little cousins. If you are looking for a doll for your youngling, you should take a peek at Crib Life! Watch the review for more and please forgive the video's pixely look-- it had to be majorly condensed in size to fit here!

My kids were really excited when I ordered these dolls (2 different ones). When they arrived, we opened them quickly (thankfully) and the girls really enjoyed dressing and undressing them and playing with the charms. That lasted less than a week.

PROS:

They are pretty well constructed, so they can take a little abuse.
They are a good size. A small child can hold the doll's body in one hand, so they're easy to carry around.
They have a connected on-line game and virutal world where your child can play (may NOT be a pro).
Lots of avilable accessories and things at your local department store for play.
Much more portable than larger dolls.
Paint seems to hold up well.

CONS:

The doll is VERY top heavy and will not sit up for any length of time.
The accessories are very small, which is a nightmare with younger siblings in the home.
It doesn't DO anything. It's just a doll.
The hands do not grip well. She cannot hold her own "keychain".
The shoes fall off too easily.
The clothes are so tiny that they are easily lost once removed.

Because the doll has very few features and we didn't invest in a lot of toys/accessories, these didn't keep my kids' interest for more than a week.
I'm not a big fan of on-line gaming for small children. The reasons for my aversion are personal, so I won't get into it here. So the gaming features was not a plus for me. I just see it as another on-line activity that has to be monitored.
Overall, I'm not really excited about the dolls and I'm really glad we didn't invest in them. Definitely wouldn't buy again.

The online site did not work. If I would have been able to read the box where it says "online site only available for a limited time" I would NEVER have bought them. My daughters are WEBKINZ fans so I thought this would be a great gift. After trying 1/2 the day to get onto the site, thinking it was just to many people were getting on it, I had a friend tell me what the box said. So not only did I get my 2 children each a doll I talked her into getting one for her daughter. UGH! really makes me mad they advertise the website but don't say it's not permanet. Really burns me.
