From the Manufacturer

Your Make Me Better Baby doll might be feeling a little under the weather, but she'll get all better with your loving care. She tells you what's wrong so you can make it better. Her cheeks light up when she doesn't feel good and that's your cue to give her a full checkup. If she tells you her tummy hurts, there's "medicine" you can give her. Check her temperature with the pretend thermometer and put the "stethoscope" up to her chest and pretend to listen to her little heart. Once the check-up's over, put a bandage on her pretend boo-boos to make her feel special. When her cheeks dim, it means she's perfectly healthy and ready for playtime again.

My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday and loves her! She likes to take her temperature and give her medicane just like I do to her younger brother.

Bought this for my 3-year-old niece because the concepts of being a mommy and being a doctor are high on her list of pretend play favorites. She was drawn to it immediately and we started to experiment with the different settings (took it off "demo" mode and tried English and Spanish.) I had not realized before we began to play with it that the doll is not interactive, i.e. it does not register or respond to any of the treatments provided. Instead, it just waits a few seconds and invariably says "all better" or "thank you mommy." For example, one of the ailments is that the doll's tummy hurts. Just as my niece was asking me what to do and I was responding to her to tell her to give medicine, the doll said "all better." My little niece's face fell because she had missed her chance. I guess the trick is to administer whatever treatment you're going to do quickly so that it appears as if you've made the doll better, but from my experience this can be hard for little ones. Pros: Cute doll, very appealing concepts for little girls' pretend play, seems well made and I liked that the syringe pops back up on its own and the pieces of it don't come apart so they can't get lost. Cons: not interactive, and the very short time between the doll stating it is sick and when it feels all better can leave little ones out of the fun.

You squeeze her wrist and she says some stuff like, "Mommy, my tummy hurts."

Pros: It speaks english and Spanish.
THe doll is cute looking.
It calls says mommy, which my daughter loves.

Cons: Plastic very hard, So it's not huggable, and the wrist you squeeze to activate her is so hard a 5 year old girl can't get her to talk.
Unlike a similar Elmo doll, the doll seems to have no idea whether you actually did anything to help, it just complains and a few seconds later says "thank you, Mommy."
I also worry that my child will get bored with it after a few days because it doesn't really do much.

My daughter, recently turned three, got this for Christmas today. Although the idea is cute, the "button" on the wrist to interact with the doll is very hard to press, thus making my daughter require help any time she wants to play with it. Also, there are only a few phrases she utters, and it take only a few seconds, before she's all better. Otherwise, seems like a good toy, but she's not that interested in it since it's harder to play with and not very involved.

This an excellent toy for any young child. My granddaughter just loves it and plays with it all the time. I was only disappointed to find it at Toys-R-Us for $29.99 today when I paid $37 plus shipping from Amazon

Bought this for my four year old granddaughter when she was sick and in the hospital for a week. She loved it it's a perfect gift for a child that is very ill and they can care for their baby like they are being cared for. Would buy it all over again but hope I never have another grandchild as ill as she was.

A bit pricey but it's what our granddaughter wants, at least for the moment. We hope she still wants it by Christmas

My 3 year old daughter loves it so much. She even goes to sleep with the doll! I give it 4 star rating because the baby doll "thanks mommy, I get better" too soon, & it can't stand, only lay down or seat.

Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase :)
