A terrific book for children and adults alike.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Baby Angels: Board Book (Board book)
Baby Angels is a heartwarming book. I have read it to my child millions of times. He has loved the book ever since the first time that I read it to him. I have given the book to other children as well. THe illustrations are unbelievable and so true to life. They are absolutely gorgeous. The story is actually a prayer but is short and sweet holding even the youngest infant's attention. A lovely book to share with your child and a beautiful prayer to say each and every day. A must have for anyone who believes in angels....you will after reading this book.

We Love It,

A dear lady from my support group sent this book to my youngest son for his first birthday. We really love it because he has a brother that is an angel. I point to the angels in the pictures and say "Look there is Gabriel!". The neatest thing is that one of the angels looks like Gabriel did and the baby looks like my one year old! I plan to get several copies to pass out at my children's hospital in memory of Gabriel.

Baby Angels-Great for Bedtime Routines,
By "emmasdada" (Denver, CO USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Baby Angels: Board Book (Board book)
Reading as part of our bedtime routine is crucial. Our daughter, born in October 1999, loves this book especially when read in a voice slightly more forceful than a whisper. She has memorized when to turn the page, and she does so without being prompted. If ever there should be an award for illustrations, this book has my vote! The baby angels are darling, and the baby in red is just as cute. Plus, and perhaps most importantly at times, a parent can read this book in just a couple of minutes. This is enough time for our daughter to get relaxed so that she can prepare herself for a good night's sleep.

Soothing and Sweet book,

My daughter is 2 and we've been reading this book for quite a while now. She loves it! It's about baby angels that watch over a young child when he/she climbs out of the crib, goes outside by his/herself, etc. And no, my daughter has not gotten any "bad" ideas from this book. We enjoy this book so much I've given it as a gift and will more than likely give it again. It has a very soothing, rhythmic verse to it. Buy with confidence and enjoy!

Baby Protected!,
This review is from: Baby Angels: Board Book (Board book)
What an adorable book this is showing that every little baby has watchful angels around them. Inside the pages of this book we have bright colorful illustrations, showing little baby exploring the world and his angels letting the parents know when the little one needs them.
All babies need angels and this is a wonderful reminder of the fact that they are there. Very nice book.

Angels all around us,
By KSL "emma-and-me" (Florida, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Baby Angels: Board Book (Board book)
I just love that the illustrator chose to draw her angels not just as the typical blonde hair & blue eyed, but also included an adorable red haired angel, an asian and black angel as well. With a daughter from China I think it's important for her to see that there are angels that look just like her!
I don't have a problem with the baby in the book climbing out of his or her crib. That what a toddler does, it's their job to explore, to taste, to touch and being constantly on the move in their world. Reading to your child is so important and while reading it gives you the parent a chance to talk about climbing out of their crib, or climbing up onto something they shouldn't.

Our daughter loves to be read this book. She points to the chubby baby angels floating in the air and squeals with laughter. It's also a very sweet story that I enjoy reading her.

Baby Angels,

I was given this book by a dear friend after we had our 2nd daughter. Our first daughter died shortly after birth. We will always think of her as our daughters guardian angel and I love reading this to her. Highly recommended to give to moms like me.

A good, good night story,
By Joe Wede (Oakland, IA United States) - See all my reviews

My daughter received this book as a baptismal gift. It has become one of her favorite books. I've read it so much that I have it memorized. Just as I begin reciting the story, my daughter lights up. She especially likes to add "uh-oh's" into their appropriate spots. The story is of a mischievious youngster who is protected by several baby angels. The illustrator has given the story a fresh pictoral view with additional stories that we can gather from those illustrations. I highly recommend this book.

HEARTWARMING!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Baby Angels: Board Book (Board book)
I recently purchased this book for my daughters after being away for the weekend. I always love to buy them "special" books rather than the ordinary. Baby Angels truly touched my heart because our family recently suffered a miscarriage. This book was a wonderful way for my daughters to think of their unborn sibling and to not forget what could have been. The illustrations are so delicate and beautiful. And the story is sweet and endearing to my children's ears. They ask me to read it to them at least once a day. Thank you! Thank you! for this perfect book! |
