I bought both of these dolls, I unboxed both of them last night and compared them, I like Annabell because her mouth moves when she sucks her bottle or pacifier. She makes cute baby noises. Her sucking and breathing while she is asleep is a little loud but it really is cute. And it is just too much when she burps, my husband & I both laughed. It is amazing how cool toys are these days. I brought Annabell into the living room where my husband was and he thought our baby had woke up because she was crying. She really is a cute toy. I purchased her for my daughter for Christmas. I can't wait to give her Annabell.

I also like Annabell's arms & legs better than Chou Chous's, I like that she can wear short sleeves & shorts.

There is one thing about Chou Chou that I like better, her tummy, it felt more real.

I have decided to keep Annabell and return Chou Chou. I got Annabell for about $4 more, I think she is worth the extra money.

I bought this doll for my 14 month old daughter, she is just into role play with dolls and I had heard that this doll was so much fun. It is rather expensive for a doll but when I see my daughter's face when she cries and then gets the giggles it is worth it. We played it for my mum on the answering machine and my mum thought it was my daughter, that's how real she sounds. Great buy for the little girls out there whom love role play.

This doll is an absolute must. I have been trying every doll with my Daughter and they all bored her until this. She cries laughs and burps after feeding. My 3 year old is able to do everything with minimal help from me. Only 2 complaints the baby bottle is not well designed - Its tip is easily bent and mey break soon. Also not enough accessories were released at the same time as the doll. All in all we love it however.

I purchased this for my 5 yr old daughter as a Christmas gift. Upon receiving it, I had to take it out and play with it (I was just making sure she'd like it, I swear!). This doll is absolutely amazing. I was demonstrating how she works to my husband and removed her bottle mid-feeding and she started to cry. I couldn't make her stop crying till I sang to her! He was highly amused that I didn't just use the "off" switch. I can't wait to give it to my daughter as I know that it will be a new favorite. And it's much less annoying than a real baby sister. ;)

I bought both baby annabell and love me chou chou for my daughter's third birthday and gave her the love me chou chou because it seemed to have more features. she barely played with it the day of her birthday so I opened the baby annabell and am keeping her instead. I thought the fact that love me's legs kicked would be cute but I didn't like that you could feel the mechanisms in her legs that make them move and the motor for the legs is pretty noisy. she was also a little heavier than annabell. I also didn't like that you could "see" all the mechanisms under her face and everything sticks to the skin on her head. my daughter of course didn't seem to notice any of these points though. the biggest thing was the sounds that annabell makes versus the sounds that love me makes. annabell seems to be much more animated and her laugh is adorable and her cry makes you want to pick her up right away and she burps (very cute!) but her snore is a little odd...love me's sounds were not as fun and seemed more muffled. I like that annabell's pacifier came with a clip and the bottle actually drains as she drinks...love me's don't have either of those features. annabell only took 4 batteries versus love me chou chou's six. if you want more features and more realistic movements, then love me chou chou is for you. but overall, I think baby annabell was a better choice for our 3 year old...she hasn't put her down!

The doll works well. The sucking motion is really neat, the way she burps and sleeps after a bottle is cute. My daugher loves tending to annabelle when the doll wakes up crying also.

The only problem is that when you play with the doll other than with the bottle the doll laughs non-stop.

The constant laughing really annoys my daughter.
The "raspberry" noises also bother her. My Daughter told "baby and-a-bell" to "stop making farting noises" and the doll, of corse, laughed in her face. You should have seen her little mad face LOL.

I wish that the doll would respond to motion and sound realisticly like a furby.
If you drop the doll on her head, she laughs.. if you yell she laughs, if you cry she laughs... no matter what you do the doll laughs and raspberries.

It would be nice if she would cry or even just be quiet sometimes during play.

Never the less.. I still highly recomend this doll above any other doll Ive seen so far.

I gave Baby Annabell to my 23 month old daughter this week - and she hasn't put her down for a second! My husband and I were both amazed at how real this doll is... and my daughter is just in love!

For the first time, my daughter has agreed to sleep in her own room, in her own bed (she has been sharing with Mommy and Daddy up until now!) - but she is quite happy to sleep with her new baby. She sat in her bed for over an hour last night feeding, burping, cuddling and giving Baby Annabell her pacifier - and she giggled along with her. And we woke up this morning to the sounds of Baby Annabell sucking on her bottle (my daughter was feeding her)!

The doll is super realistic and wonderful to cuddle (I saw another reviewer said she wasn't fun to cuddle, but I don't agree). The only thing wrong with this doll is what another reviewer also said - when the doll goes into 'sleep mode' (when it turns itself off after not being used for 1 minute) her eyes open.... after my daughter has rocked her to sleep she expects her to stay sleeping... not to open her eyes. But all in all, this is an amazing, dream doll for any little child.

I'm 9 yrs. old & last weekend I got a Baby AnnaBell.She's the cutest & most fun doll I've ever seen.I love the cooing,burping, & laughing sounds.Every time she blows a raspberry,my lil' brother thinks she's pooping!!!!He even slept with her in his bed.I think it's convient that she has an on-off button.I've got losts of comments.I've always been a baby doll fanatic.This is the coolest doll ever[no offense to my other dolls,I love you guys just as much,lol}.I'd rate the doll a 10 in 1-10,10 as the best.bye

My husband and I bought this doll for out four year old this past christmas. Let's just say it was a big hit!!! She plays with the Annabell everyday. Excellent doll!! She eats and burps like a real baby without the mess. She cries when she has a tummy ache. Just burp her tummy, she is happy again(Laughing and giggling). The accessories are made just as well as the doll. We also have the crib and bouncer.
The only thing that bugs my daughter is that when Annabell goes to sleep. After two minutes of not being played with, the doll shuts off to save her batteries. Therefore, after sleeping for about two minutes, Annabell's eyes open, for this is the off mode. Other than that one thing, my daughter is just tickled pink to have this doll. Zapf Creation products are worth every penny.

We bought the Chou Chou Rock-A-Bye first for our daughter for Christmas this year, took it home and tested it out weren't convinced that it was the right gift(it just cried too much) so we exchanged for Baby Annabell. This was the best thing we did. Baby Annabell is so cute. The laughs are so much better than hearing a doll cry. Feeding her was so much fun because of the movement of the dolls mouth (like she was really drinking!) I am excited about giving this to my daughter for Christmas!
