Size on the label is "0 to 6 months," but should be 6 to 9 months in my opinion. No newborn could possibly wear this, it is just way too big. I ordered it for our 2 month old to wear on Halloween and was shocked when the giant outfit arrived. It is very cute though and the packaging would make it a great gift for an older baby. Very disappointed to have to send it back.

If this fits any "newborn to 6 month old" on the planet, I feel incredibly sorry for the mother.

I bought this for my 2 month old daughter, along with the aviator outfit by the same maker, and am very disappointed that even though they are labeled "0-6 months" in size, it is bigger than most of the 12 month sleepers I have in the closet! She is big for her age, and it still won't come anywhere close to fitting her for at least another 6-8 months.

The "tutu" is a little flimsy/cheap feeling, but for a novelty outfit, it's ok. A few more layers of ruffle would improve it a great deal. Everything else about it is adorable: the outfit, the hat, the packaging... so cute.

I just wish the size were given accurately!

I just purchased this outfit for my granddaughter. At the moment she is wearing preemie size. She is starting to hit a growth spurt. This is a grow into outfit. It is adorable. The little ruffled tutu, matching hat. The feet are made to look like they have on ballet slippers. This outfit is so cute. Your little angel will be the number 1 ballerina of your heart and everyone else's too.

Was a little baggy on my (6 lb 10 oz, 21 inches) baby girl at first. However, after a month passed & she gained 3 pounds, it fit perfectly, with a little room to grow. She fit in this until she was 4 months old - 14.5 pounds & 24 inches. I dont consider herva huge baby, but maybe compared to the other reviewers I just have a bigger baby. Iin my case it was true to size!
