this thing is awesome... works fantastically. we didn't want one of those crazy battery-operated ones that shoots off missiles and bakes hams and crap, but we did want a bouncy chair. this once uses the movement of the baby, which is cool, and doesn't make your living room look like a mini-golf course.

I thought my husband was crazy to buy this bouncy chair but it is far superior to the $20 one that we had. Its metal base is really sturdy and well made. We love its simplicity...no extra flashing lights and music. Our son loves and uses it everyday. He just loves playing with the colored wooden bears. They create endless hours of fun...spinning and twirling the bears. The adjustable back is nice, but we generally keep it in the most upright position. The cloth back is easily to wash when accidents happen. We have had the chair for a few months now and looks like it will definitely hold up until the baby outgrows it.

I bought this chair because of its looks. It is not plastic and covered with loud, ridiculous toys. Fortunately our son loves it, more than I could have imagined. He will sit and hang out in the seat anytime. This has been a product we could not live without. It is lightweight so we can move him from room to room without any problems. We also fold it flat and stick it the car for trips to Grandmas house. A must have!

We had our baby in this chair from her first day back from the hospital. At the lowest incline setting, it is (in my opinion) perfect for a newborn with little neck strength. The hammock-like design makes it easy for her to sleep in. It folds down nice and flat for easy storage. Our baby prefers sitting in this chair to being held and we can just gently bounce her to sleep in it. I don't know how we would have survived these last couple of months without it. The fabric is easy to remove from the frame for washing and launders nicely in the washing machine. Haven't tried the toy bar yet (she's too little) so can't comment on that.

Was a bit skeptical at first but my 2 month old son is loving this bouncer these days and so does his mamma! I thought the price tag was a bit high - but I think it was totally worth it. It satisfied my need for a bouncer to be simple, neutral in color with no plinky music or fish swimming or lights flashing - the bears are simple and cute and he just started spinning them today. I can put my son in this bouncer and know that I am not overstimulating him with vibration, music or lights - very happy with this purchase... and I ordered it on a Monday morning from Amazon and it arrived the very next day - free shipping!!! Can't beat that!

Well made, functional, doesn't "baby up" the living room. Most important...my grandchild loves it. This thing will last thru many babies.

I am simply the pickiest person alive. I want things that can last generations even if really used for a few months. This bouncy chair is easy to use, shared with my toddler, and borrowed by my friend with a baby with glasses. Yes, her baby wore glasses and found that this was the only chair that did not bump her glasses off.

Once my friends daughter finished using the chair, I took it back for my #2 baby. The cloth is easy to slip off the frame and wash.

The chair takes a licking (from my toddler) and keeps on ticking!

If you can afford it or intend to have multiple children, buy this bouncy!

This chair is fantastic and completely worthwhile. We used it starting at week two (and probably could have started sooner, but we had other alternatives that were a little easier to manage). Our baby LOVED sitting in this chair, finding the bears and spinning them with her hand, kicking her leg to make the chair "bounce", taking the occasional nap in it (again, we had alternatives), eating in it once she got older, watching us do whatever we were doing -- working, cooking, etc etc -- this was it. It never tipped and we used it until she was about 5 or 6 months and wanted to sit up more herself. The cover comes off and the whole thing goes in the wash. It stores flat if/when it's not in use. It has adjustable heights for your baby's comfort. And if you care about these things, which we sort of did, it blends in to a modern/adult setting and doesn't scream "baby" -- you're going to get plenty of ugly things that your child will love, don't worry. I loved this chair and was sad when she outgrew it.

I have to admit the vibrating bouncer I got as a gift worked wonders when my baby was 6 weeks and colicky. At around 4 months I took this bouncer out and my daughter loved it. Now that she's a bit older she can enjoy the bears and the various angles I can set this chair to. The vibrating bouncer is now in my mother's attic waiting for the next newborn. This bouncer will stay here until she's 2.

I love the way this thing looks as well! It really helps keep my small place from looking like a catastrophe.

I'm a big fan of baby bjorn products. I received it on my doorstep in perfect condition within 48 hours of submitting the order! Impressive.
