We received this as a gift from friends when we had our first child, and could not stop laughing as we gained a new appreciation for what it meant to be parents. Whether you're new parents, know someone who is, or have been parents for years and want to remember what it was *really* like, this book needs to be on your list.

We've now given this book as a gift to four other couples who've had babies recently, and all agree that it's their favorite new book on the shelf. It covers everything - changing the first diaper, the first visits from the parents (both sets), sleepless nights, and the joy of teething, to mention a few.

Buy this book. You'll laugh for a long time, and will probably end up sharing it with your other friends fortunate enough to have kids of their own.

I have been a fan of Baby Blues since my daughter was born, eight years ago. I sometimes think that Mr. Kirkman and Mr. Scott hide outside my windows and take notes, because so many of their strips are right on the mark! If you have small children, are thinking about having small children, or just want a good belly laugh, I highly recommend the entire series of Baby Blues collections. Enjoy!

This book chronicles The macphersons first year at raising a family. It is one of many Baby blues collections and provides humourous and touching insights on raising children. From Darryl sticking the daiper shut with Post-it-Notes to to the baby sitter running out of the house screaming that she's going to have her tubes tied, this is the perfect book for those stressfull midnight feedings.

After reading the book, now i understand what my parents when through raising me. I have decided that i'll wait a while before having children

Every parent can identify with something in this book, whether it's the middle of the night battle over who's going to get up with the baby, or the discovery that you've taken WAY to many pictures of the baby's first day home. I found this book by accident while looking for baby books during my pregnancy, and I am so happy I did. Read this and all other books in the Baby Blues series and you'll see what I mean. While all of the cartoons will make you laugh, they'll also make you cry as you remember your own "Baby Blues", or, if you're going to have a baby, they give you a basic understanding of what it's like, while keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing. I love this book and all of the other books by these authors, and I can't wait for more

Im a huge fan of the baby blues comic strip. When I started collecting the books of my favorite comic strips. I knew I had to get the book chronicling the first strips.

This book is funny and almost anyone can relate to it...well mainly parents who either have a new baby or remember the days of having one.

Watch as Wanda and Darryl learn the hardships of being a parent when their daughter Zoe is born. Goodbye sleep.

I've always loved Baby Blues. The characters seemed real and the jokes were always funny. Now that I'm a new father the characters are all the more real and the jokes are funny because they're true. Fun to read and from the beginning!

I have no kids and I plan not to have kids, which speaks well for the authors' abilities to reach a readership without exclusivity. Their books and daily comics never fail to humor (or touch) me in some way. Keep 'em comin' guys! I wanna see Zoe and Hammie off to college!

I got this book about 3 months ago, and I loved it! It shows you that parenting isn't the most easiest thing in the world. This book has lots of laughs and good times in it. So if you want lots of laughs (100 percent guranteed) then get this wonderful book!

The situations, feelings, frustrations, joys, and everything else in every panel of this comic is "true". So much of parenting is the "we're crying now, but we're going to look back on this someday and laugh" -- this is a perfect expression of that, helping to bring out that laughter.
