I just bought this book as a gift for my cousin who is pregnant. It is absolutely adorable. If you like animals or are familiar with Wegman's work, it is just precious. I think it is a perfect gift for anyone expecting. There are the traditional baby book things--foot prints, family tree, firsts, etc. accompanied by terrific pictures. I would really recommend this to anyone--and the cover is this wonderfully soft velvet that makes it all the more lovable!

This is the cutest baby book I've seen. I hate the cheesy ones you see in the store. Perfect size for what I wanted.

The best thing about this baby book are the ADORABLE photos of puppies in it. It also has pages for everything: family tree, lock of hair, growth chart, ultrasound photo, first birthday, etc. etc. I looked around for the perfect baby book and this one is it. I have bought 3 more copies since for friends who have had babies.

There's just something to be said for Wegman's puppy images being juztaposed with images of your own baby. This is my favorite baby book I've seen out there and I really shopped around. I didn't want a "traditional" baby book, but I did want to add in all of the usual information somewhere. Wegman's Baby Book let me do all of that, provided me with a super cute height ruler that I can use for longer than a year and all with pictures of shiny, silver weimeraners. So adorable. And, the cover is really soft as a bonus.

When I read the Salt Lake City reviewer's comments on this book I felt sort of silly for considering it as my official "Baby Book," since the feeling seemed to be that it was a baby book for puppies. But in truth, Wegman's book is much less treacley and syrupy than other baby book offerings. I have no problem using it for my human baby!

This is a great, non-traditional baby book. The pictures are classic; plenty of space for writing; it covers everything. It arrived in great condition, still in the plastic - quick service. Thanks!

If you have seen this photographer before, and love his work...you simply cannot pass this book up. It is basically a photo album of your baby's firsts (first bath, first birthday, first holiday, etc.) accompanied by adorable photographs of these dogs. A picture of a dog/puppy is on each page and on the adjacent page there is a heading with a place to stick a picture from that event of your baby. Then there is a line or two at the bottom of the page for you to write a brief description of the picture. The cover is velvety soft. Too cute for words! You will need another baby book to accompany this book since it is simply a small photo album.

I bought this book as a baby shower gift and it never occurred to me that it could be for a puppy (guess I should read the reviews first!)

In any case, it's a wonderful, funny, warm, up-to-date baby book (even a place for an ultra-sound pix--or "Belly Picture" as it's called in the book.

Love this book--especially the Weim-inspired fabric cover!

I saw this book at the Barnes & Noble in Jack London Square in California and thought it was so damn cute. I wanted to buy it but my dog at home ( I live in Utah) was already full grown so I passed it up. Just a few weeks later my boyfriend and myself decided that we were going to get a puppy and I knew I wanted a Weimaraner. We just picked her up yesterday, she is 7 weeks old and I knew I had to track down this book again because I couldn't find it in Utah. I was so thrilled to find it on the internet. Now I can document every adorable moment of our new puppies life. This is such a great idea because there are so many people out there who love their animals like a member of the family and would love to document their lives. It's better than keeping pictures in a shoebox and it gives me an opportunity and an excuse to take time to write down the memories and cherish the little things that might otherwise be forgotten once she's grown up. Thank you William Wegman!

Great Baby book, thinking about getting one for my 2nd child as well. Truly had never considered it a puppy book, and not a human baby book. Who knew!
