5.0 out of 5 stars Use This Book to Launch Conversations March 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
"Baby Boomers Bucket List" is a launching pad for conversations with friends and significant others. The categories included go beyond the expected (skydiving, mountain climbing, etc.) and touch on the spiritual and charitable. More importantly, they include practical ideas for taking action NOW, while you are still young and/or employed.

Very pleasing to the eye, the photos are accompanied by "just enough" narrative to inspire you to move on your ideas. The author even includes links for more information on certain topics, to help you create a doable bucket list.

I'd recommend this book for an affordable Saturday night diversion with friends!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thought Provoking Book! January 24, 2013
By Dawn
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've heard many people say they've created a bucket list but had never given much thought as to what would be on mine.......until I read this book. This book breaks out the categories, and many of them are important, of what should be included on a bucket list. For example, many people I know put places they want to see on their bucket list, but many overlook smaller things that are important such as helping someone anonymously or connecting with an old friend. This book was very thought provoking and makes it easy to create your own personalized bucket list! Highly recommended - don't put it off another day. Life is too short!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good guide on what your bucket list should consist! January 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was able to gather a lot of good info from this book. Few ones that I liked were " Save up for an extravagant vacation" and "Quitting your job if you have saved enough".
I think this book is for everyone. For all ages. If you are young like me, you can decide upon certain things and plan early and efficiently to accomplish everything in your bucket list.

Being a baby-boomer gave me an added incentive to read this book. I loved the movie "Bucket List," but never considered my great age and that I should have one. This book gives so many great suggestions for a baby-boomer bucket list. The suggestions are divided into categories that help organize your list into manageable parts. I'll use some of theirs and add a few of my own. How about you?

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Things to think about January 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm not officially a baby boomer. I miss it by about 2 years, but I am retired and wondering what to do with the rest of my life. You can't just sit and watch TV forever. Mr Cope gave me a lot of good ideas of how to spend my time. I've never written out a bucket list. I have thought about it, but just hadn't gotten around to it. My first item on the bucket list is to write a bucket list. And there are a lot of good ideas in this book that I'm going to use. Some things you might have already thought about, but Mr Cope mentions some things I never thought of and am looking forward to trying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Unique Ideas For Your Bucket List January 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
When In read the subheading of this book, I'd thought Id give it a go. I was a big fan of the film "The Bucket List" and was interested in what the author thought would make a good bucket list. Sure there some ideas like travelling to distant places etc but there were lots of great ideas that are non expensive and could make a big difference in our own lives and the lives of others. Great ideas not just for baby boomers alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars good book January 17, 2013
By OPV
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a very good book not just for so called baby boomers but also for younger people. It has many very good and useful points how to live your life better especially if you are getting older and your children (if you had them) are already left your home. Aging does not always mean lower life potential, sometimes older people may discover new abilities or talents even in their later years, so they may continue to live with interest, use, and fun.
