I was looking for a stroller that we could take on vacations with us. My main criterion being that I wanted it to recline, because my baby was only 8 months at the time of purchase (almost 4 months ago) and needed to nap on the go. I have to admit that I am highly impressed with both the stroller itself and the customer service (more on that later). So far we've taken this stroller to the dusty streets of Phoenix (AZ), rainy Amsterdam (The Netherlands), and busy Washington (DC). We had to fly with the stroller to two of these destinations and it still looks like new (before checking it in at the gate, we placed the stroller in the big plastic bag it was packaged in when it came from Amazon).

First, it is easy to maneuver and believe me, I know what I'm talking about, because there were times when I had to push the stroller with just one hand, while dragging a heavy suitcase in the other hand. Also, many streets in Europe have very uneven brick sidewalks and the stroller did just great there. The stroller is very light and even with a 20 lb baby inside, if there were some stairs and no elevator, we would just pick it up and carry it. I also have to mention that it did pretty well on trains in Europe. It is narrow enough so that we could push it in the aisle of the train without any issues.

Second, it seems very comfortable for the baby, because she is able to fall asleep in it and sleep for many hours (she hasn't been falling asleep that well in the travel system stroller we also use sometimes). The baby would usually fall asleep when the seat is upright and then we would just carefully recline it and she would continue sleeping peacefully.

We spent a lot of time and researched many strollers and finally settled on this one which offered the most features which we were looking for. We haven't been disappointed.

Pros:
- nice ride (though the Maclarens might be a little bit nicer)
- good weight/size
- good quality/durability
- love the color (Taupe) and overall great look -> stands out from all of the commoditized Maclarens
- bottle holders in basket
- very nice rain cover -> absolutely fantastic feature that had people wowing when we were out in the rain

Cons:
- as with all umbrella strollers, wish for easier access to the basket
- wish for a bit stronger design in the back rest and that it could sit a little more upright
- wish the sun visor could provide a little more coverage, but there is a work around for this by unsnapping the visor to allow it to lean forward

We loved our stroller so much that we bought another one for our 2nd child. Over time, both strollers needed minor repair and BabyCargo was most gracious in fixing everything at their cost under warranty.

The main feature I was looking for was a compact umbrella fold which this stroller has. I wanted to be able to just leave it in the trunk so it's always available when we are out and about. We use the adjustable footrest more than I thought we would. It's nice not to see my 7 month old's feet dangling. He is in the 36% for height so with the footrest up, he has a nice area to put his toys for easy reaching. The adjustable backrest is nice with an almost flat recline for comfortable napping and I much prefer the lever for adjusting on this stroller than the strap type on some other strollers - just a personal preference. The basket is not very accessible when the seat is in the full recline position. I do worry about the durability of both the backrest and footrest adjusting mechanisms. I haven't had any trouble thus far but both seem weak in feel. It's easy to maneuver with one hand. I love when folding the stroller that no pedals have to be pushed up...it's all downward motion so it's easy to do in flip flops which I wear year round here in the Arizona desert. As several other reviews have stated, the canopy isn't much. Having an expandable, adjustable canopy would be better especially here in the desert. I like the clear window to look down at baby without pulling back material and fastening it much more than I thought I would and it doesn't let too much sun in. It has an easy locking mechanism and both a handle and a strap for carrying. I wish the handle could be moved to either side of the stroller - I tend to want to pick up the stroller on the side with the locking mechanism but the handle is on the opposite side. The buckle is easy to put on baby. Build in strap pads are nice but I wish they had velco for easier removal for washing.Read more ›

I bought this stroller to have something handy for our trip to Italy. It really held up even though it was put through the ringer with cobblestone streets. It is great for tall people or not particularly tall people. The recline is really nice. I ordered taupe and I would definitely advise against that. When you fold it up the dirt from the wheels easily gets on the canopy and it makes it look very dingy. I called customer service and they sent me a new black canopy (paid for shipping myself) and it looks nice and I don't have to worry about the dirt from the wheels making the canopy look bad. I paid $179 and am really shocked how much the price has dropped on amazon! My sister-in-law bought the same stroller (and saved quite a bit of money) a few months later. She brought it to Italy too and it was just a coincidence that she had purchased the same stroller, she didn't know we had the baby cargo too. Her stroller was also put through the ringer and really held up. I would definitely recommend the stroller. Things I would like to see for a future model is an adjustable canopy and possibly grip handles like on the Maclaren models.
