These blocks are fabulous. The colors, the shapes, the little picture flaps. Those features make them educational. Some rattle and others have crinkly noises. The colors are marvelous and they are "teether" friendly. As babies get older, they can actually stack them and use them more interactively. A MUST, in my opinion!

The blocks worked fine for my baby. I was just disappointed that what is on the picture is not what they sell, the cars are not in the set, plus when I washed the blocks the pink fabric died other stuff I washed them with.

i read wonderful reviews on these blocks and purchased for my 4 month old thinking he would enjoy the bold colors and patterns and grow into the blocks. he is now 15 months old and has never liked these things. he loves the cardboard stacking blocks and wooden blocks, but these never caught his attention ever. also they don't "build" into much with all the odd shapes. you can stack a couple and top off a triangular or sphere piece, but nothing too exciting. the quality of the item seems good, but then again they were never played with by my son. an expensive purchase in my opinion when there are more "traditional" block sets that are way more fun.
