WOW! Truly, I had no idea one town could have so many DUMB people! These characters are farcical; the average IQ can't be higher than 50. Reading these was hypnotic torture - I hate not finishing a book and I kept hoping they'd get better, but like watching a train wreck, I couldn't look away regardless of how ridiculous the "plot" evolved. Dialogue, characters inner thoughts and the "quirks" along the way were just dumb. Why this author chose to insult all small towns by making characters with no sense is beyond me. They way she wrote these folks, they should rise up and thwack her with the long list of all the inconsistencies, bad writing, dumb thoughts and idiocy she tarred them with! Don't go to Dry Creek!
