I love this book and it made a great gift for the family of a newborn baby. They were happy to receive it. It's full of encouragement to a first time family. It has my stamp of approval.

I bought this book to give to my sister at her baby shower - we asked everyone to bring a book instead of a card. I remember a Joan Walsh Anglund book being one of our favorites growing up, because of the beautiful illustrations. This book did not disappoint. It is a small hardcover. (I don't have it anymore or I would list the measurements.) The text is very sweet, and the illustrations are as lovely as I remember from my childhood. It also had a ribbon bookmark attached to the book, with a little baby buggy charm.
