4.0 out of 5 stars OK, not great!
Of all the NON-blowback BB guns I've reviewed, I'll put it in this order:
The Daisy 15XT, Crosman C-11 and the "Baby" last. Though they're all within the same price range $40-45, the "Baby" has the worst trigger pull. The trigger is made of plastic which slide front to back, covering a metal lever (actual trigger) coming down from the top, thus like pulling 2...

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright gun
The first time I used this gun I put a Co2 cartridge in and all the Co2 leaked out. It was defective and I exchanged it. The replacement worked great. I could get about 10 to 15 mags on one Co2 cartridge and it was extremely powerful and sounded great. I have had this gun for about a year now and it barely holds C02 anymore. I can get 4 mags in if I hurry because the Co2...

The Daisy 15XT, Crosman C-11 and the "Baby" last. Though they're all within the same price range $40-45, the "Baby" has the worst trigger pull. The trigger is made of plastic which slide front to back, covering a metal lever (actual trigger) coming down from the top, thus like pulling 2 trigger at a time. The Daisy 15XT is the same, but much smoother. CO2 cover slide back like the C-11. No clip, manual loading-15 rds. I average 170 shots/CO2. Accuracy wise, as expected from a BB pistol, around 5" grouping at 25'. Powerful 420 fps. It comes with attached bottom rail and UNattached top rail as an option to put on. Fixed rearsight, mine shoots about 2-2 1/2" high @ 25' (aiming at center of target the center of grouping would be about 2 1/2" above.)
Looks cool, feels awsome. mgso

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for Beginners, October 29, 2008
I personally love this air gun. This was my first true BB gun, but I own a .22, and I have fired various other pistols/rifles.
(.45, 9mm, 7mm, .308, .223, .50 BMG)
I wouldn't compare this with any of those, however, that background gives me an idea of what an air-gun should feel like.

Pros-
Good trigger, I love the "suddeness" of it, it reminds me of an M-1911...
I also like the heft of it, it is slightly heavier than other air-guns that I've handled.
Air Capacity is great, up to 70 shots in one canister.

Cons-
The size is COMPLETELY off a true Eagle. (of course... it is a BABY)
No blow-back... that threw me off, even my airsoft guns have blowback...
No mag-release... that barrell mounted mag is funky...
No-true saftey... that lever on the very back of the slide is the real saftey, I would have preffered that...

Over-all however, I love this thing, I highly recommend it.

This review is from: Baby Desert Eagle Air Pistol (Misc.)
This gun is a lot of fun; very powerful for a baby/ the gun looks agreesive with the railing on top and if you add a red dot scope and laser like I did wow very accurate and looks awesome. great price; I shoot the first time about 8 magazines which is 120 bb's. Get it; feel free to watch video of shooting test

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright gun, April 11, 2010
The first time I used this gun I put a Co2 cartridge in and all the Co2 leaked out. It was defective and I exchanged it. The replacement worked great. I could get about 10 to 15 mags on one Co2 cartridge and it was extremely powerful and sounded great. I have had this gun for about a year now and it barely holds C02 anymore. I can get 4 mags in if I hurry because the Co2 has started to leak again. This gun isnt bad if you dont plan to keep it a long time but I recommend you go with a slightly more expensive gun, maybe a crossman.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice first CO2 gun, July 9, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this gun about 3 weeks ago, and I'm happy with it. Efective shooting distance is about 150 ft with full-filled CO2 cylinder, and the cylinder works fine for about 75 shoots. It's small, easy to handle and shoot, but the safe button feels weak, maybe this is the only con about this gun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, April 18, 2010
This gun is great. It looks like a real desert eagle but smaller scale(iv'e shot a desert eagle). Very powerful and good accuracy, its stronger than my rifle bb gun. Easy to load, good capacity for a pistol. The only problem with this gun is its trigger, its really wierd like cause you have to pull it back really far and then has to go back into place, although its not really a design flaw its just meant for saftey. Other than that it has no problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this Pistol !!!, March 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When I first opened the package, I was excited to start using this pistol. I own a Real Baby DE 9mm and although the real gun and this one are different, I loved the way it has the look of the Big DE AE .50...
It is easy to load and shoot. Very accurate and the Co2 Cartridge lasts a good 60 bb's with accuracy...
I would suggest you buy this Co2 Pistol as it is very fun to shoot with.
LGIII

2.0 out of 5 stars a dissapointment, February 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Well I am really upset that I bought this gun. For one the whole thing is pretty much plastic. If you droped it, it would crack bad. Not very high quality and truely is not worth $40. It doesnt even look or feel real when your holding it. Do yourselves a favor and look at some of the other guns here on amazon...
