Unfortunately, I am the first to post a review on this dresser/table. While the photo looks great, here's what went badly:
1. Half of the pieces appeared to not have the final two coats of paint applied. They were obviously not glazed, and because of the matte finish, you can see the wood underneath. This was the case with one of the drawers, as well as the cupboard door, and the side panels.
2. At least 5 pieces were crushed in shipping, rendering them almost useless. I got creative with the super glue, but obviously not ideal in any way.
3. The instructions were TERRIBLE. I consider myself fairly mechanical but not only did I notice a few instructions were flat out WRONG, but it took me a full two days to figure out what it was trying to instruct.
4. Several of the boards were missing their pre-drilled areas, so I had to eyeball it myself.

So please do yourself a favor and PASS on this piece of furniture. Your sanity will thank you.

I saw this had a bad review and just couldn't believe it!

We ordered this in 2007. It came with one damaged side and had a paint drip mark. We contacted LA Baby and they quickly sent us out a brand new side, no charge, and we didn't have to send he damaged side back! Awesome!

Assembly wasn't too difficult for my husband - the door didn't have pre-drilled holes so he had to measure and do those himself, but other than that, I think he had this together in less than an hour.

One drawer sticks a bit/falls off the track a little on one side, but not even enough to bother a perfectionist like me!

The paint/glossy finish is beautiful. It cleans very well. We've had it for 3.5 years now and have zero paint chips/scuffs! We recently switched out the boring drawer pulls for some cute ceramic ones that match my daughter's room and now I love the dresser even more.

Love the "bars" on each side - we hung a diaper stacker from one side and it was perfect for it! On the other side, I had those toy links to hold a toy my daughter could play with (and couldn't throw off) during diaper changes. It fits a changing pad and the Prince Lionheart Diaper Depot on top with room to spare.

This dresser is very large and VERY heavy. Put it together near where you want it! I put some sliders underneath it so I can scoot it out/over if I need to in order to retrieve a dropped item and it's a little easier, but still very heavy.

Love it though and highly recommend it. This is a very beautiful piece, high quality, and at a great price when you compare it to high end furniture stores who sell similar for 3 times this price!
