This book like the other play a song books from Baby Einstein is great. My 17 month loves to push the buttons and hear the music. Inside every page there is pop-ups which makes it interactive and more fun. Every button plays a different song Bach,Vivaldi,Mozart,Handel, Chopin. Love it.

My daughter got this book for Christmas last year (at age 1 1/2) and loved it -- wanted us to read it to her all the time. Now at 2 1/2 she takes it with her everywhere and is absolutely enthralled with it. Loves the music, loves making the connection between the picture on the button and the pop up illustration that matches it, loves the pop ups. She sleeps with this book -- literally cannot get enough of it. I wish there were a CD to accompany it that contained all the music from it.

We got this book as a gift for my son's first birthday, and I wish I had kept it out of reach for a while. The pop-up pages were just too irresistible for his little destructive fingers, and over time, while I wasn't looking, he tore most of the fantastic displays right out. But, we still love to play the music, and I like that it has an "off" button that will stop a song once started. I definitely recommend this book for the suggested age, 18 months+.

When I saw the price ((...)) I was expecting to get a rather small book, which was fine because I was buying it for a 1 year old. When the book arrived in the mail, it was much larger than I imagined. The pictures have amazing bold colors, and the songs play for a long time--much longer than most song books. After I saw how nice it was, I thought maybe I should save it for the little boy until he gets old enough to appreciate it.

The music is very loud with no volume control and doesn't relate to any of the stories. I guess I was expecting sounds that would relate to the stories, but that's not what you get. You get long, loud, tinny songs. I would not have bought this book if I had seen in the store first.

I think this book is better for an older child, my 18 mo. old destroyed the pop ups.

I love the Baby Einstein books and this one is wonderful too. It is colorful and fun. It is a fun and fast read that uses a words that help enlarge your child's vocabulary. The pop ups are great too. The only downside is that the buttons to press to play music last a long time. The songs go on for a long time and last a lot longer than it takes to read the words on the page. I tend to just talk over the music and continue turning pages or it would take a lot longer to read.

The images are colorful and music is good enough. But I must have mis read that this was a sing along, as when a person reads each page, my toddler naturally wants to hit the button that corresponds to the page. Of course this causes the music to play and reading w/the music relating to the page is very difficult, as it doesn't "match" the words or theme showing!
So buy it and just enjoy the music and read later.

This book is too fragile for a toddler to handle. Its nearly impossible to open up the page and try to have a 3D look without tear off parts of it. The pages are too flimsy. Battery issues as with other song books exist too.

Last night, as I was falling asleep, this book started playing music all by itself. It wouldn't stop. Very obnoxious!

Also, my toddler has managed to pull out some of the pop-up pages.
