I got this book as gift and was pleasantly surprised to see it was larger than most of the Baby Einstein books. The colors and pictures are bright and vibrant, easy for a young child to see and keep their attention on. It's also very sturdy, for the chewers.

On one page they show you a picture, say, of a duck or train or whatever. Then on the other page it has a relevant phrase like "How is the duck?" and the phrase is repeated below in large colorful words in three other languages besides English: Spanish, Japanese and Hebrew. The words are also spelled out phoenetically, for those of us who are not too language saavy.

I wanted to teach my baby Spanish alongside with English, so this book was a perfect tool in helping out with that!

We're hooked on Baby Einstein! My son is 7 mo. old and he loves this book! He likes the pictures, but ESPECIALLY the mirror!! He laughs and smiles and gets all excited and he loves to hear me say the phrases in all the different languages. And, to be honest, I LOVE this book.... maybe even more than he does! I've practiced the languages and I LOVE TO SAY THEM.... especially the Japaneese! It's fun to read and look at and the pronunciation guide makes it easy and fun.... with practice. This is a must have book for babies.... (and mommies and daddies too)!!!!!!

This book has great phrases in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Hebrew! I know almost all the phrases by heart because my four month year old loves it! There is actually even a mirror on the back page where they learn to introduce themselves in each language! This was one of the best shower presents I got!

My daughter is just over 2 months - I can't get her to concentrate on anything for more than 5 seconds - but I can just hold the book up (the one I have has a caterpillar on the front) and she just smiles and smiles. Most of the pictures are bright and colorful and she loves hearing "Hola, pato" over and over. Even if she never looks at it again I will have gotten my money's worth. It's a durable book and well done. The pronunciation guide is great and I look forward to her being able to practice saying the words when she gets older - hopefully I will have the pronunciation down by then.

This is an awesome book. My 9 month old loves the little mirror and listening to Mommy and Daddy use different languages.... Baby Einstein, what a good idea!

This is a cute book. Basically it has pictures of items in it then on the side the phrase in several lanuages. For instance Where is the train. It also has prounceations below the items so that us grown ups can figure out who to say the phrases. This is a hard read for grown ups because some of the forgien language phrases are real tounge twisters. Unless you are somewhat fimilar with the foreing launauges you may do your child a diservice by reading them this book as you will probably butcher the anonciation of the words. I would still get it as most people can at least do the english and spanish versions

My boy laughs everytime I say Hola Pato or Ah-hee-ru-chan Ko-Nee-Chee-Wa. This is a fun way to introduce your baby to different languages and for you to laugh too. Just hearing my husband say some of this stuff is a riot. Very simple, fun book, definitely recommended.

This is a great book, my little one and I look at the bright pictures and she loves the different languages in the book!! She looks at me and smiles big when I say a word in French, or Japaneese!! My 5 year old likes looking at the book and learning the different languages also!!

The product is exactly as described. It was a gift, and the recipient gushes over the book and how much their child enjoys it!

i bought this product based on some of the reviews from other consumers and have been disappointed with it once received. it is not how i expected it to be.
the reason is that each page has a sentence that is translated into 4 different languages but the sentences are not the kind that can be used in daily life...
