The lights and music get his attention and there are so many places to hang toys I love that.

I used both the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper and the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. While both are good jumpers overall I prefer the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo.

Amount of Bounce: This is one of the biggest differences between the two jumpers. The Baby Einstein jumper does not have a lot of bounce, in fact it has less bounce then any other jumper I've tried. The Rainforest Jumperoo has a lot of bounce to it so baby can have lots of fun with it. I think the difference may be due to where the elastic cords are attached and how long they are-on the Baby Einstein Jumper they are attached out to the side and are relatively short whereas on the Fisher Price Jumperoo they are attached up high and are longer.

Durability: The piano on the Baby Einstein Jumper broke within a few weeks. I contacted the company and they sent out a replacement for free but it was still annoying to have to deal with. I have not had any problems with the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo.

Toys: My son loved the piano on the Baby Einstein Jumper but didn't really care for any of the other toys. He enjoyed all of the toys on the Fisher Price Jumperoo especially the spinning bead ball.

Adjustability: The Baby Einstein Jumper has five different height settings whereas the Fisher Price Jumperoo only has three. The height settings start much lower on the Baby Einstein Jumper making it the better option for younger/shorter babies. The highest height setting on the Baby Einstein is significantly shorter than on the Fisher Price Jumperoo. It is much easier to change the setting on the Baby Einstein Jumper than on the Fisher Price Jumperoo. On the Baby Einstein Jumper you just turn the knobs along the support poles and move them up to the next notch.

I was interested in buying my son a jumper for 2 reasons. #1 was that, for some time, he had basically been using my lap as a jumper, and so seemed perfect for one. #2 was that I wanted something stable and stationary to be able to set him in and amuse him while I, for example, made dinner or some other activity where I wouldn't be holding him. Amazon was having a 20% off for Amazon Moms sale, and this was on it, so it seemed like fate.

Anyway, my 7-month-old LOVED this contraption from the moment I set it up! As you can see in the video, he can get a good amount of bounce, but not so much where I worry he'll bash his face on any of the toys in front of him. The piano has very fun sounds, words (though I'm not convinced of the toy's ability to teach my son foreign languages), and piano notes, and he seems to enjoy the rest of the toys as well. I admit, I was a little misled by the product description about how it folds for storage. Overly optimistically, I thought it would somehow fold in half and collapse, but you do have to take off the arms to store it, Oh well -- small inconvenience for a great tool my baby loves!

First let me start by saying before you read each review - notice the date it was written! A lot of the negative reviews were from over 4 years ago!!! Since then you can see they have changed the design of the jumperoo - so a lot of the complaints are no longer relative to it.

My husband and I bought 2 jumperoos - this one (Baby Einstein) and one called Luv U Zoo by FP. We have about %95 of our baby's products made by FP so we thought we would for sure like it. WE WERE WRONG.
The 2 good things about the FP that BE is lacking in are these 2 features:
1. FP Jumperoo has a motion activated music with the option to leave the music playing for up to 20 minutes. Baby Einstein works only when pressed on, and works for about 5 seconds.
2. FP has a rest area for the arms on the swivel seat.

With Baby Einstein's jumperoo the assembly took longer but the base was A LOT (!!!!!) more steady and didn't giggle from side to side. FP was so wabbely it felt like a safety hazard to put our baby in it.
Also, the swivel seat has 6 wheels attached for easy move. FP only has 4.
Overall, we feel like there's more interesting activities in the Baby Einstein than the silly toys in the FP.

If BE would have made the 2 pros i mentioned for FP on their jumperoo i would have given it a 5 stars rating. Nonetheless it is still by far a much much much better and safe item to be used by my baby.

Prior to purchasing this my 5 month old son loved to be held all the time. I purchased this item hoping it it would give me some free time to do household chores. It did that and more. Words can not express the sheer delight he gets when he is in the jumper. His energy seems to be infinite while in it. He never tires of the bright and colorful toys and spins and spins and jumps and jumps for hours. Wish I could take it with me everywhere we go. Very good purchase, highly recommended!!!

It's perfect for baby! So many different stations to keep her busy! She absolutely loves it! The smallest leg length is great too she can touch the ground already. She was 3 months when we started using it. It was really easy to assemble. Haven't tried the easy unassemble for easy storage yet. GREAT activity set for baby!
