A Good Read,
By
This review is from: The Baby Fat Diet (Mass Market Paperback)
The book shares tips, and accompanying research, on losing weight after having children. And, well, since I've had 3 of them, I thought I could possibly learn something about weight loss after birthin' the little monsters :-) It was a very easy read for me, actually kind of like I was having a conversation with the authors. The content was broken down easily and highlighted each new point within the chapter so it caught my eye while I was reading along. For me, this is extremely important especially with an informative read.
I did a comprehenesive review at my personal blog.

The good: The recipes, calorie intake counter, and shopping list suggestion were great.
The bad: No brainer advice. Don't bother with purchasing the book if you've taken a health class with a chapter on nutrition. Just read the blog online.

Lots of good information in snack size chapters,

I really liked this book and even though my "baby" is almost four years old now, I found lots of good information that would pertain to anyone. It is a fun, easy read, but covers a lot of health and nutrition topics such as supplements, nutritional studies (what to look for in a study), portion control, getting your family on board with healthy eating, and lots of other useful tidbits of info. The chapters are short, and can be read out of sequence, so you can right to the chapter that interests you most. I think of this book as more of a guide than an actual diet, but there are 3 days worth of menus which showcase healthy meals and snacks. This would be a great gift for baby showers or new moms.

This book is filled with plenty of tips that will assist new moms who long to get back in shape and lose the baby fat but need ideas and information to do it. The chapters are short -- bite sized for the sleep-deprived. Filled with nutrition tips -- all designed to help a mom get a handle on her weight in those early baby days. A great resource for new moms.
