I was very disappointed in this item. From the pictures/description, I didn't realize that the hat itself was paper. I have seen several other similar hats and they have a plastic lining, so I assumed this one did, too. The bling and decorations were cute, but I couldn't give this hat to my 1 year old for her first birthday because she would have destroyed it in 5 seconds. I would have returned it, but in the end it would have cost me 2x MORE the cost of the item itself to ship it back to the company--so not worth it! So, I gave it to a bigger kid as a gift.
