3.0 out of 5 stars A nice story, September 5, 2007
This review is from: Nbs Baby Grizzly Bear (Nature Babies Series) (Paperback)
The author and photographer traveled to Alaska to put together this neat little book about grizzly bears. My daughter and I read this as part of our reading on grizzlies during our literature study of the Little House books.

The story is written in narrative form and is very engaging, particularly with the photos of the bear family. The "Did You Know?" section at the back has some interesting information on the bears, including their typical adult size, other names for the grizzly and a few other details. For the age group, it is appropriate. I also found the book "Baby Bears and How They Grow" good, and the back section of that book has excellent information about the different kinds of bears and their classificiation.
