Baby Jane Doe,
By Kaitlan Crockett "Pam" (Chambersburg, PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Baby Jane Doe (Harlequin Intrigue, No. 947 / The Precinct) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have read all four books in Julie Miller's "The Precinct" series and enjoyed them all. "Baby Jane Doe" finally answered the question that was carried through the previous four books in the series about a baby found dead in the landfill. I liked the hero and heroine in this book. Eli Masterson is a man who loves his family, sisters Jillian and Holly, but doesn't seem to have time or the inclination to get involved in a serious relationship until he becomes involved in the "Baby Jane Doe" case at the request of Acting Commissioner Shauna Cartwright. The immediate attraction the two have for each other becomes harder and harder to ignore. They both finally admit their love for each other, but protocol gets in the way. The suspenseful ending brings everything together. This book also introduces Seth Cartwright, the Commissioner's son, who is the main character in Julie Miller's next seris "The Precinct, Vice Squad." All of Julie Miller's books are entertaining and suspenseful reading and I have greatly enjoyed this author's work.

Baby Jane Doe-Joyfully Recommended,
This review is from: Baby Jane Doe (Harlequin Intrigue, No. 947 / The Precinct) (Mass Market Paperback)
KCPD Commissioner Shauna Cartwright didn't believe that the man who was about to be tried for the Baby Jane Doe killings was the right man. Opening the case again would require special handling to keep it from blowing up in her face and creating a public panic. After IA Officer Eli Masterson saves her life during an attempted bank robbery, she knows she's found the man that she needs to help her. However, she never expected to find herself so attracted to him or that he would desire her equally. Now she's not only faced with finding the true killer but is also in danger of becoming involved with a man who works for her.
Baby Jane Doe has it all, romance, intrigue and non-stop action. Together Shauna and Eli are a couple that quickly had me begging for them to say, "forget the rules" and admit their feelings for each other. Once they do, it's worth every minute that I spent anxiously flipping pages. Julie Miller has written a book that epitomizes the words romantic suspense. Readers who enjoy romantic suspense won't want to miss Baby Jane Doe! Melissa Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

ROMANTIC TIMES Book Reviews says...,
This review is from: Baby Jane Doe (Harlequin Intrigue, No. 947 / The Precinct) (Mass Market Paperback)
When police commissioner Shauna Cartwright asks Kansas City Internal Affairs cop Eli Masterson to discover if the department has the right man behind bars for a child's murder, she puts herself in an assassin's path. Suddenly, Eli is not only investigating his own department but also playing bodyguard--and he's falling hard for a woman who's completely off limits... Julie Miller's BABY JANE DOE (4) notches up the danger as it puts Eli and Shauna on a collision course with a killer and their own outrageous and forbidden attraction.

The Author is very talented. She melds the characters together in the book series. It is almost like watching a soap opera and getting to know each person. I have read almost all of her kindles books. I am a huge fan. Great job. Loved the books.shelia
