Finally,
This review is from: Baby Jogger Child Tray for 2008 City & Summit Double Strollers (Baby Product)
I bought my Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller last year after looking at several double strollers. For some reason, finding a side by side stroller with child trays is virtually impossible. It also happens to be one of the features that I really wanted so of course I purchased the trays when they became available. The trays attach to the belly bar with velcro straps. I was a little worried that they wouldn't velcro on securely but they do in fact attach very firmly with adjustable velcro loops. The trays are quite sturdy as well. They can be adjusted higher or lower because the belly bar is adjustable. My twins are 15 months old and even on the lower setting the tray is a little high. I wouldn't suggest these trays for a small baby. They are a lot bigger and higher than what you would see on a single stroller that has a tray attached.
Overall, the trays are good and do come in handy but I think it's kind of ridiculous that it costs upwards of $80.00 just to have child trays on a $350.00 stroller.

GREAT addition to the City Mini Double!,

I have TWO trays for our City Mini Double--works GREAT if you know how to install them. You have to clip them on one at a time and slide it to the side until you can velcro the tabs onto the bar--one tab will be 'round the side of the bar. The trays sit towards the end of the bar on each side. Reviews like the one saying only one tray fits are misleading. If Baby Jogger says they are made to fit, they aren't just lying about it. I think the bumper bar and trays are a fabulous addition to the stroller! :) I don't like that all the extras cost so much though! :( BUT...you get what you pay for! I have been SO impressed with the quality of Baby Jogger!

tray for baby jogger city mini,
This review is from: Baby Jogger Child Tray for 2008 City & Summit Double Strollers (Baby Product)
this is a good concept since the stroller doesn't come with a tray, the problem is it only fits one tray. So only one kid gets the tray infront of them. I ordered two and am now stuck with an extra one.

Got this for my younger child's seat on the stroller. I don't have any issues with it coming off too easily, in fact, sometimes it's hard to snap the second hinge on. The hinge attaches close to the fabric of the seat, so if I often have to look to see if I'm hitting the seat fabric while snapping on the tray. Other than that, it's perfect+ for holding her cup and putting her cheerios and other finger foods in the tray so she can snack while we are strolling, shopping or running errands. It detaches easy for clean up and cleans up easy with a baby wipe. The cup holder is a good depth, seems like a cup will stay put even if you hit some bumps while strolling. I have a few short sippys with handles that don't work because the handles get in the way of the tray, but I think my Born Free sippys with handles will fit fine.
Something I didn't think about before I got it, since I have 2 seats, one for an infant and one for a 3 yr old, the seat with the tray on will fit behind the first seat (in tandem position), but it's a tight squeeze to get the child in the seat without taking the tray off. Not a deal breaker, but taking the tray off first before putting in child just adds an extra step in setting up the stroller. I normally put my lighter (thus my younger child with the tray) in the front anyway since it's easier to push because of the weight distribution so I don't run into this very often. It's not a problem when the two seats are facing each other, in fact the children can share the tray so you don't have to buy two.

I like the tray, it works great for snacks and to keep my son in the seat. But it comes off pretty easily, when opened to take the baby out he often grabs it and off comes the whole thing! It's the only one available for this stroller, so there isn't another option. But maybe the bellybar stays on better?

This thing is great, holds my kids drink and whatever he's eating at the time. Easy to clean and to take off. It swivels from one side (the drink holder side) and its easy to get the kid in and out.I love the Baby Jogger City Select stroller to death. Its the best stroller out there (IMHO). But I feel like Im getting nickel and dimed to death having to buy all the accesories. I think these trays should come standard with the seat, both the original single seat stroller and the second seat. Some of the other stuff like the adult drink holder or rain cover should continue to be sold seperately (as it is now). Thats just my opinion.

We bought these for our City Mini Double Stroller. We couldn't be more pleased with how well they work. We fit two on the belly bar easily so I am not sure how the reviewers who are saying it only holds one are installing them. There are also some bad reviews that they sit too high to be useful but our belly bar has a button on each side so that you can adjust the height of the belly bar. I don't know if there were belly bars that didn't adjust previously or what the problem is there. I originally thought the same thing when I installed them before finding out the belly bar can move up and down.

If you were only planning on using one tray at a time they would be ok but putting them together doesn't work at all. There isn't enough room on the bar and the tray tilts so bad that the food rolls to the side and makes it spill all over. If the bar isn't down all the way the trays sit up so high that the child can barely see over them. It's just not made very well, for the amount of the stroller and the accessories the product should have been made to fit better.

This makes the City Select!,

I could not imagine dailly life without this tray. It is a great addition to the city select. I used my city select tray-less for about 6 months and I honestly don't know how I got by. I love that that I can flip open the tray...and you can do this with the seat placed in the higher postion! You simply have to reach under the outer bar and click it open. My son is 2.5 yrs old and it is a great deterrent in him trying to get out of his seat. It is perfect for feeding him snacks or even lunch away from home. I walk around town alot for excercise and because I live close to many great local activities to take my son to so this gets tons of use. It fits every sippy cup that I've tried beautifully and I even on occasion strap my sons muvn case for his ipad to this tray- great for when you spend 3 hours trekking around ikea. Really great buy I only wish baby jogger had included this with the stroller to begin with.

Its easy to attach and for an adult to remove, you just clip it onto the stroller. its not easy for a toddler to remove it. The tray is small and not sure what you can put on the tray itself but you can hold a sippy cup in the holder just fine. The clip of the tray does vie for the clipping room on the seat canopy so be aware of that. So you'll have to set the canopy on a higher setting to fit the tray on.
