5.0 out of 5 stars Love this stroller - almost bought the bob.
I was set on purchasing the Bob Revolution SE Duallie- hands down I was sold. Then we went to a big box store to test drive with my son's. Here's where the change in mind set started. My boys are 11mts and 2 years old. They fit just fine in either stroller now. Both strollers are great. So how did I decide? Here were the main selling points:

I was set on purchasing the Bob Revolution SE Duallie- hands down I was sold. Then we went to a big box store to test drive with my son's. Here's where the change in mind set started. My boys are 11mts and 2 years old. They fit just fine in either stroller now. Both strollers are great. So how did I decide? Here were the main selling points:
1 - Collapsing. The Baby Jogger is SOOO easy! Just pull up on straps and it folds. The Bob wasn't bad, but there were multiple steps and it wasn't very smooth.
2 - Head space. Neither of my sons are 'big' for their age and in the Bob my 2 year old was pretty much at capacity for head space. The shade actually got in his way. In the Baby jogger he had a good 8 inches of room to grow.
3 - Foot rest. The Bob's foot rest is cloth; I'm not too sure how that cleans up. The Baby Jogger footrest is plastic, wipes up in a breeze.
4 - Reclining seats. First the recline feature on baby jogger is awesome; just pull down on the strap. I totally struggled with making the seat recline on the Bob. If I had a sleeping child I totally would have woken them up. Secondly the mesh air vent in the baby jogger is key. Both of my little ones are hot boxes and this allows us to vent them a bit thus making sure they don't overheat. We also have a pergo double and they are all wet after napping in that stroller.
It was really difficult for me to switch gears and not buy the Bob, gut at the end of the day, for us this was the more superior stroller! Hope this review helps!

5.0 out of 5 stars All around double jogger vs. Ironman/bob, June 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Baby Jogger Summit XC Double Stroller, Sand/Black (Baby Product)
Commonsense tells me that having two wheels in the front will help prevent it from going to one side. I have a 10 year old 5 year old and 9 month old daughter. I wanted the bon iron man cuz it wouldn't swivel which is key to a real running double. I had a single before, it was fine. But with my two being so different in weight I like that one center wheel wouldn't tAke the heat. Sooooooo, I knew not to buy a swivel center wheel jogger.....bob other types. I couldn't fathom buying a ironman bob non swivel, I do want something for walks, parks zoo,s. And fAce it a double is big across no matter how you look at it. I have a eddies Bauer double stroller and the big kid only fits in the front making it impossible to maneuver. Phil and teds and britax under the kid thing is nuts for actual comfort and I'm tall and kicked my child with my knees. So after Allll this I took a chance on this four wheeler jogger.

1) great assembly 3 mins max
2) the height is there for my 5 year old
3) I don't have to lift it to turn when jogging, funny that I tried to which made it more difficult.
4) never veered any direction, hand brake was good, even when I took my 10 year old just to see 60 lbs.
5) not heavy! For a double especially
6) folds great packs great
7) my 9month old fell asleep the first ride! She never slept in the single .......a baby trend she cried on the sidewalk/curbs, these shocks are fine even if not adjustable with different weighted kids, 17 lds and 30 lbs.
8). Swivel is great
9) fit through my front door. Which is a old house more narrow then most.
10) if u want a stroller for swivel but quality runner this is it.
Very satisfied, sorry bob.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not good for jogging, but ok otherwise., January 19, 2012
I bought this stroller about 6 months ago for the sole purpose of jogging with my two kids (ages 1.5 & 4). I have a smaller Chicco, umbrella style double stroller for all other purposes. I have to say I have been disappointed with it for jogging. It is SO heavy and hard to turn. It makes my runs rediculously hard. I have to put my whole body weight into it to go up the slightest incline (and I don't mean a hill, I live at sea level so there are no hills around here!). I have a single BOB Revolution and it is a dream to push, whether jogging or just strolling in the mall. So I will probably sell the Baby Jogger and get a BOB Revolution Duallie.

Another issue I had was that the tires said to inflate to 40 psi even though baby jogger recommends inflating to 20 psi (found that out after our issue), so when my husband attempted to inflate one of the front tires to 40 psi, the plastic wheel/tire rim split apart. Hard to explain, but it made that wheel completely inoperable. So we had to call and order a new tire and wheel.

We also had to replace the rear brake hubs. I can't quite figure out what happened, but the brakes didn't work. Replacing the brake hubs was also a very difficult task that required a special tool that we had to go buy.

I will say that the baby jogger has more head room for my older child and the sun canopies are really large, protecting the kids very well. It is very easy to fold and actually folds quite small for a double jogger. So it would be great for everything EXCEPT RUNNING!

I love this stroller and it works perfect for my two kids. It is one of the only ones that had an adapter for the Chico carseat. The sunshades come down low and keep the sun off of the kids, it steers super easy, and it rides very smooth. The only complaint I have is that it is very heavy and pretty bulky. It fits in the back of my mini-van but just barely. Overall I am very happy with this stroller and I guess I could use a good arm workout getting it in and out of the van :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Stroller, June 17, 2011
I love this stroller. I have literally taken it on beaches, over mountain bike trails and trough ditches. Even with 60 lbs worth of baby in it, little effort is required to push this stroller. The 4 wheel design provides great stability and the suspension gives it a great ride on rough terrain.

I tried out many strollers before I picked this one and I am very happy with the purchase. It is very easy to collapse, but like all double jogging strollers it is quite large and very heavy. If you have a small sedan or are petite you should probably just get an umbrella stroller. However, if you want to be able to go anywhere outside this is a great stroller for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!, September 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This stroller is amazing. It's a little wide but very easy to fit threw most doorways. This is the second double stroller I have bought, If I bought this one first it would have been the only one. It is a little bulky but what do you expect from a double jogger.
The main problem I was having with other stroller was that my two monkeys (daughters) Would climb right out of it. So far they cannot with this one. the harness fits pretty good, CON the straps were a little hard to adjust. But overall LOVE THIS STROLLER!

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality for the Price, November 26, 2011
Received Jogger as a shower gift so it sat in the box for nearly a year. Once i started using stroller it was almost 2 weeks before the 1 year manufacture warranty expired. Everything seemed great, full suspension, deep sun visors, and four wheels for more stability. that is where it ends, quality for nearly a $700 stroller is lacking. The frame looks molded like a high tech mountain bike but the break system failed 2 months into light operation, the wheels were warp easily, the material on the stroller feels like a cheap book bag and the child harness is plastic and has already broken. it boggles the mind that this stroller is $649, but the warranty will make up for all the concerns right???
No
I go to dicks with receipt in hand and the deny every selling it. Dicks sporting goods stopped carrying this entire line due to quality concerns. So i contact the manufacturer and that is where the fun begins they have a lifetime warranty but it is only as good as the company who backs it. Customer service here is terrible I was told after numerous attempts to remedy the warped wheels that my 1 year warranty has expired. I start listing the numerous problems with the stroller and the women at customer service says that none of that is covered outside the 1 year manufactures warranty. Wow!! now I have a barely used stroller with warped wheels, no wheel locks, and broken child harness. Save your money buy a Bob or Schwin and retire them in yard sales this stroller is terrible.
