The original stroller purchased from Amazon.com suffered the same issue as reviewed previously - a strong pull (in our case, to the left). The pull occurred whether the front wheel was locked or not, and was extremely annoying even while walking on paved surfaces.

Wheel Alignment 101:

The issue is most definitely NOT caused by the front wheel itself, but rather a manufacturing defect in the frame of the stroller. The front wheel pin attaches to a bracket that is welded to the frame. This bracket was welded out of square, causing the pin to angle (substantially) to the right of the stroller. The pin is unfortunately not adjustable, and this angle is transferred to the front wheel, causing it to push left while rolling. Just like on a car, a cambered wheel will always cause a pull.

Now the good news:

I contacted BabyJogger and described the problem, and emailed them pictures of the disassembled stroller to explain what I thought was the cause. The problem wasn't news to them, but it sounded like my suggestion to look at the wheel pin was. They sent me a complete replacement the next week after verifying that the front pin was square to the frame on the new stroller. The new stroller now rolls straight and true.

There is still a small amount of turning play in the front wheel when locked. This is necessary because it allows you to make small adjustments in the tracking of the stroller while running. The important thing is that it does not PULL, which is caused by camber NOT a wobbling wheel. Wheels that wobble slightly or are out of balance just cause vibration at high speeds. And trust me... you don't run that fast.

Taking all of this into context, we really do love this stroller. It is extremely well made of high quality materials. It is extremely maneuverable and easy to push. The stroller holds more but folds smaller than our old clunky stroller, and we wish we knew about this one sooner. It really is a very well engineered stroller and we are so glad our only complaint (the wheel pull) was resolved by their fantastic customer service. I would have given this 5 stars if we didn't have to deal with warranty replacement. Hopefully this is a production run issue and not a quality control issue. Our first Summit 360 was built in Feb-09 while the second was built in May-09.

This is an awesome stroller. Super smooth ride and easy to handle. It was one of the few that I found that actually does hold an older, taller child. Although there are other jogging strollers that say they will hold up to 75 lbs, they may not have enough height clearance for a bigger child. My daughter is 4 1/2 and still enjoys going in the stroller on long walks and she will actually fit in this one. Her head pressed against the canopy in the BOB strollers. I would definitely recommend this stroller- you will be able to use it a long time!

This is a great stroller! I use it for walking, and go 5-10 miles a day, and it is perfect for that! The seat is comfortable for my son, who has often fallen asleep on our walks. There is ample headroom, so both of my tall preschoolers can sit comfortably if they need to ride for a while. The Baby Jogger is the only stroller that fits my tall 5.5yo.

If you are a serious jogger, get a jogging stroller with a fixed wheel. This is not a stroller for the serious jogger. This is excellent for all-terrain walking, long distance walking, and city walking. The single hand fold is so easy, just grab the strap and pull, and the stroller is folded! So easy!

I thought I would be annoyed that the handle bar doesn't adjust, but it really isn't a problem. I am short and the handle works fine for me.

We researched both the BOB and this stroller before purchasing the Baby Jogger. The decision was made based on some test driving - we felt like it was too easy to push on the handle of the BOB and make the whole stroller tip backward. The Baby Jogger seems to ride the same - smooth and controlled - and we liked that the area where the child's feet go is plastic instead of cloth. It's easier to fold up and switch the front wheel from straight to swivel. We do wish more accessories came with the stroller like the child tray, parents cup holder and the carrier attachment (the stroller is $[...] after all, shouldn't it come with a couple of perks?) but we bought them separately anyway and are loving the product overall. Update 08May10: We loved this stroller until the rear tire blew out. It has been impossible to fix so far. The gentleman at the bike shop cannot get the tire back over the wheel frame and says that it's an unusually tight relationship to the wheel, making it impossible for him to repair or replace with another 16 inch tire. In trying to figure out why the tire blew in the first place, it turns out the Baby Jogger website recommends pumping the tires to only 20 psi even though the manual says to pump them to the amount listed on the tire (which is 40 psi). We haven't even jogged with this stroller a whole lot, just taken it on walks and to parks. I will be contacting Baby Jogger customer service for a replacement wheel and ranting about the poor design of the tire/wheel fit. If they won't replace the wheel for free, I am returning the entire thing and ordering a BOB. I'll update this review when the ordeal is resolved.

I received this as a gift from my husband, and both my daughter and I really love it.

I actually started using it for shopping and errands (over my Chicco Cortina), since it maneuvers so well.

PROS: Easily mobility, nice that it folds into a suitcase with just a pull at the seat. Has a switch at the front wheel for STRAIGHT or SWIVEL. Front and back tires come off VERY easily and quickly. Fits into my 2003 Honda Accord trunk and front seat. Nice, long and heavy duty canopy to keep the sun off my daughter. Very comfy looking seat that reclines far back. Level of handle bar is just right (I'm 5'5"), and no kicking the wheels while running.

CONS: Seat doesn't go up to a 90 degree angle, so my daughter has to hold onto the bar (sold separately) to sit up. When folded, it is somewhat compact, but all tires need to be taken off in order for it to lie more flat. Underneath basket has ample space, but is a little hard to reach since it is directly under the seat. It would be nice to have some type of cup holder for water, but it would have to be sort of deep since I'm running and bottles of water don't hold well in a typical cup holder.

Really great buy and even though there are some cons, I would recommend it highly.

I've purchased the Summit 360 few months ago and it seemed to be the perfect stroller for our needs, nice looking stroller with great design but most important super smooth ride and easy to handle obviously in swivel front wheel mode, my wife and I used it for the first weeks for walking and multipurpose daily activities, we were really happy with the purchase. After three weeks finally I was ready for my first run with the stroller (exercise mode or front wheel locked) and I found out the most unsteady front wheel ever, it pulls to the right when jogging (it's totally of alignment), I stopped and checked out the wheels and actually all three tires wobble when you spin them and obviously this causes the stroller to pull to a side when jogging.

I called Baby Jogger for warranty and they sent out a totally new front wheel but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. Then we decided to replace the complete stroller with the vendor (Amazon, great service) so we got a totally new one which I didn't get the opportunity to test because the day before my run I inflated the tires to the recommended PSI's and early next day I find a rear flat (broken) tire.

It's a shame to have the "perfect" stroller for our needs (both multipurpose/walk and exercise/run in one) and have such terrible tire system.

I have the 2010 model and I've used it for 6 months with the car seat adapter for the first 4 months. I decided on the baby jogger b/c of the swivel/lock wheel option and the hand break, other models did not have both these options available when I bought it. I also wanted the taller canopy. I loved this stroller at first and it does have a smooth ride, but now that my daughter is 6 months and I'm running more with it (20-30 km a week), I have noticed a few annoying issues. I'm still happy with the stroller and wouldn't return it, but here are some things to think about when comparing strollers.

1) I have had problems with the back wheels bouncing and wobbling at higher speeds (rollerblading). I took the wheels off and put them back on again and it seemed to help but then the problem came back. BTW the wheels are really easy to take on and off.
2) The folding latch was added to this model and it is necessary, otherwise the stroller opens when you lift it up to put it in the car. However, it only works if you fold up the stroller perfectly with all fabric tucked inside and nothing in the pockets, even then the latch hardly reaches. I often can't even use it.
3) I find the accessories to be over priced (50$ parent console!, just buy the jolly jumper one for 20$) and the soft pram is useless and unsafe (the harness doesn't go through it and the baby can slide down), someone gave it to me and I'm glad I didn't spend money on it. I also think the back support should be included with the stroller. The stroller is very reasonably priced so I'm assuming this is where they are making their money.
4) I also wish the sun canopy shielded more, however it doesn't seem like any of the jogging strollers provide complete coverage (I hang a blanket over the top, pulled through the little loops on the canopy and it solves the problem). It works great when using it with the car seat.
5) The rain/wind cover is easy to put on but it smelled of vinyl (maybe they all do?), so make sure you air it out before you use it.
6) The harness belly straps are very secure and easy to use, however the shoulder strap adjustments are cheap plastic hooks and seem like they could break easily when trying to adjust them. The shoulder straps don't really do much for a baby (16lbs) compared to a car seat version that wraps more snugly around the shoulder, however for older toddlers this probably isn't an issue. In the recline position the shoulder straps get in the way of my baby's face so I don't even use them. Not sure how this harness compares to other models, but have a look.

I do have to say I have been impressed with their customer service; they suggested I email them a picture of my car seat installed in the stroller to make sure it was done correctly. I did this and they got back to me in a few minutes. They are very helpful.

One cool thing I noticed (but may not be recommended); if you are using it with a small baby in the carriage (not in the car seat) but have the car seat adapter on, you can detach the velcro strap behind the front foot part(where the feet would be for a toddler) and flip it up to attach the velcro strap on the car seat adapter to make it more cozy and block the wind (you have to try it to know what I mean).

UPDATE: The wheels were replaced free of charge and that stopped the problem of the wheels bouncing and the stroller pulling to one side when the wheel was locked. Now after 1 year of daily use the foot break does not engage properly on one side. Once again I called customer service, they were very helpful and will be sending me the replacement part at a discount (not free). I am now fed up with the quality of this stroller and their nice customer services people do not make up for such a junky, cheaply made stroller. This company used to have good quality products but its going downhill! I will not buy this stroller again, nor would I recommend it. Go with the bob revolution.

I chose this over the BOB stroller because it is taller...my 13 mo. old daughter's head was already touching the canopy of the BOB stroller, but she could ride in this one probably until around age 3-4 years. It is true that when you lock the front wheel and run, it sometimes pulls to one side, so my hubby just leaves it unlocked when he runs. It is a nice smooth ride. My only complaint is how big and heavy it is (hard to get in and out of the SUV), but this is true of most jogging strollers. It is easy to open and close, and has a big canopy, which is a must in the South.

Pros: comfortable for child (17mth), smooth ride, shaded canopy,large netting for storage on back

Cons: front wheel is off alignment, actually wobbles when you spin it. This causes the stroller to pull to the left when jogging.

note: tried a few different wheels as well as another summit 360 stroller, still had the same problem. This stroller is great as long as you are going to hold on to the handle bars the whole time and walk.

This is a great stroller. I just got it for my 4 month old and it does ride smooth, and he loves it! The canopy is huge and keeps him well covered, and the ventilation spaces (3 of them!) are great to help a breeze pass through the stroller. It also does fold like a dream and is easy to push.

I haven't had the problems the others have mentioned with it pulling to one side, but I haven't really tried jogging full speed for very long. I did notice that if I let it go, it did go to the right, but my hubby pointed out it was because the strap that attaches to your wrist is attached to the stroller on the right side instead of in the center.

Overall a great stroller! We love it!
