One-hit wonder in the US -- not many people, including myself, had heard much of Mungo Jerry's music outside of "In The Summertime". Decades ago I was given an 8-track tape with some of the tunes that appears on this collection. I loved the good-time blues and boogie beat-driven sounds, and recorded them on a cassette, which I still have to this day. For some time, looked for a CD that had the music of that tape; this CD has them and more. Must admit that Disk 3, with recordings post-Paul King and Colin Earl, seem not quite up to the the works on the other two -- nevertheless, if one wishes to experience the full range of Ray Dorset, et. al. through the years, this is the collection to buy.
